Leupold and Vortex are the only companies I repeatedly hear about how good their warraties are and how they ask no questions and send you back new gear. I own Vortex and leupold products because of that.With that said? I wouldnt be upset about paying 75 bucks to have a new lense put on or 300 bucks to get my optics built back up. Either way its a good deal.

When you add it all up its hard to beat the Razor HD. It has the best warranty out of all of them. All of the above mentioned scopes are awesome, you are not losing much with one vs the others as far as quality goes. One person may like one over the other but I think at that point its personal preference. I looked through all of them exept for the leica and I couldnt tell the difference between the Swaro and the Razor HD. The Kowa seemed a little brighter to me, but what did it for me was the price. I just couldnt justify the price difference. It came down to equal quality (my opinion) price and no BS warranty. So I went with the Razor HD myself. One thing you could do is go to the Outdoorsman, they are usually more than happy to set up different scopes on tripods and let you look at the mountain. Good luck, with what your looking at I doubt you will make a bad choice !!

Just a dressed up CDL is all it is, but you do get the fluted barrel which I think is cool. Either way they are a nice rifle, it's just a collectors/commemerative model. I have one in .243

7 Rem Mag with 168 Gr. Bergers. Pain in the rear to develop the load but once you get it done its lights out !

So I bought my nephew an over the counter rifle tag for 36A because he really wanted to hunt this year. I havent hunted that unit in years since I was in college and was wondering if you guys could help me out by pointing me in a good direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you !!

It depends on which Vortex model it is? But in all honesty, I wouldnt consider a Barska on anything, especially not a 300 RUM, because of the recoil. Im not being a snob either, I ownded a Barska at one point and it was junk. It didnt hold zero and eventually it quit adjusting for windage. With that said, I would get the Vortex if not only for their awesome warranty but I also think it will be more reliable. Also, If your max is going to be 300 yards you will be good with a 14x power scope or less. Hope that helps !!

I am running 71.5 Grs of Retumbo in my Rem 700. I am getting about 3050 fps with 168 gr Bergers. I worked the load up by .5 gr incremements. I am also using IMR 4350 for 160 gr. Accubonds. I am getting about 2900 FPS but that is out of a 22 inch barrel Browning BAR. Hope it helps. Good Luck. Accubonds are a great bullet.

HAHAHAHA thats funny, smart a#$ !! Is there any way you can come and field dress my deer after I shoot it as well. And by the way, I like my steaks cooked medium rare if you can work that out it would be great.

I am curious about hunting this unit as well. I have an over the counter tag for the october hunt. I have never hunted the unit and was wondering if I could get some pointers as to where to hunt. Thanks
