    Unit 20 C

Our 3 boys have the youth hunt there in November, hopefully we'll have some luck. But Im getting a little discouraged from everything I've been reading. Sound like we'll be doing a LOT of foot work. Still looking forward to being out there with them though.
  2. Our three boys will be partaking in their first ever rifle hunt, and we were surprised that they all three drew their third choice in 20c. My husband and I are not to familiar with the unit, but plan on scouting it out as much as we can. Any info on where to check out would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!! Kristen

Toby, I use the blackout 360° swivel and telescopic chair. You can get them at Bass Pro. Best investment we've made for the blind.

Thank You!! It was a long process. We sat 70+ hours in the blind, but it definitely paid off!

Sounds like you've already learned the most important lesson any bowhunter can learn: even a great deer spot sometimes takes a few days to produce! Thats the difference between being a bowhunter and a bow hiker. Keep hunting like that and you'll be putting lots of heads on the wall and meat in the freezer. Very true!!! I can only hope that the coming years will be filled with such wonderful blessings.

Thank you all for the wonderful feed back! This truly was one of the hardest hunts, with all of the hours spent in the blind. But persistence does pay off, so if anyone ever feels like giving up, DON"T!!! Its a huge accomplishment and an amazing lesson for my kids, who cheered me on every step of the way!

    Thank you all!!
  10. I passed up a spike on opening morning, and ever since then nothing came in except does, fawns and the occasional cow. Our seventh day in the blind. We were growing tired and weary. And finally after nine hours this beautiful guy walks in and presented me with a shot. IT had been a long and trying process but God made it all worth it!!! I am so blessed to have been able to harvest such an amazing buck. My husband, Coby, wouldn't let me give up and I'm thankful for that!! Kristen
