I had the cams out since the Jr. turkey hunt, so like April 20th tell June 9th they had a little over 2000 pics and the batterie life was at 68% I have been using the moultire M-80IR, I really like that cam a lot. right now cabelas is having a sale on them for $109.99

Whats a great hunting trip we had, it started off with my friend Greg shooting his first deer, that scored out at 148 on opening day. My other friend Adam still had his tag to fill, day 2 we hike all morning with out seeing anything. We wanted to get on top of ridge to glass the other side and while hiking up we came across 3 bucks 60 yards away! Adam got steady and shot.... We all thought he drilled it but after walking up to where the deer were he unfortunately hit the tree in front of the deer. Day 3 we pretty much did the same hike as we did on day 2 but this time we got onto the other side of the ridge where we wanted to glass from. As we are walking we came across a bear!!! I was lucky to get this buck on Monday. This was the best archery coues hunt I have ever been on. I spent 95 hours in the ground blind this year, and miss a few shots.But i stuck with it and it payed off for me in the end. I explain the story more in the video. I didn't get the shot on video, the way the deer came in I couldn't get the camera angle right. there is more pics in the video. Don't give up! I miss 6 times before I connected this season. Figure out what your doing wrong and fix it... When you draw back on a deer just go through everything in your head make your self a mental check list.. I started telling my self when i draw back look through the peep, how am i gripping my bow, and burn a hole in the target. it help me with my last shot. And remember Winners never quite, Quitters never win.
