How'd you end up doing?? That was a tough hunt! Lots of action but man it's tough getting close to those things with a bow! Sorry, didn't mean to sidetrack from the topic..

You never know, you can always get lucky! I drew 5b archery a few years back with ~15 points and there were only like 7 tags, stupid luck!

Personally speaking, I don't think it's a huge deal to use the e-tag. As mentioned in another thread, once we're able to buy all otc tags online and have them show up on your app, that will be great! Anytime I can avoid conversation with a walmart employee, that's a win.

Well, I haven't seen a single pig in the two days I've been out in 22. Seen about a hundred deer, but no pigs.. I must be looking in the wrong places

Other than physical checks, what are they going to do to stop the anti-hunters from buying archery tags then calling to report success and shutting it down?

Ya that makes sense, I didn’t think of that.. I guess all the honest people assume everyone else are doing things the right way too, but you’re probably right.

Hi there, I'm trying unsuccessfully to find a ballistic chart that is compatible with my ipad, remshoot is great but I can't download it unless I have a pc. I've looked at some different apps but none of them have my caliber or the other charts I've seen only have data for certain zeros. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

Seems like everyones got their favorites.... I shot my elk with a muzzy expandable broadhead and wasn't impressed with the penetration, one of the blades snapped off on a rib and the arrow didn't pass clean through. None the less he only went about 75 yds so I guess it got r done. I shot a coues deer last year with a magnus buzzcut at 65 yds, I hit him in the center of the chest and it came out his rear end. He didn't go but 15 yds after that but for that short distance there was a nice blood trail. I found that broadhead to fly better for me as well. I've never shot the rage but have seen in person (and posted photos) the carnage they inflict. I guess it's everybodys personal preference.

Look at what 3c turned into after the rodeo fire. That fire was the best thing that ever happened to the animals in that unit. Just Gods way of cleaning house.
