    Your tax dollars at work

Come on guys...So what is it?...Is it that they are getting "hand outs'' or just that they are spending it...Either way I think it's good that at least they are spending it here and not down there...Whatever way you look at it, some of these people are just a product of a broken system...It's not perfect but griping about lines being too long at a store, that it's the illegal immigration, or who is or not receiving welfare...Again the system is broken and needs a major re-vamp... Bi-(t)-ching about a useless cause is getting old if you do not like the system then do something about it get involved in the political process and push for change otherwise write something about hunting this is a hunting forum...I'm probably not the only one that gets fed up at the garbage Snap and others on here BS about...Sorry (I had to say that!)

    Round 2

Hey Snap... Judging by what you just called the little brown horde...That is the problem right there, wonder why it took me such a long time to figure it out (jk)...I think Obama is a little too brown for you, Brotha!...If Obama were white would you still write all this crap about him...That is the problem with 99 percent of all the Obama haters is because he is a little too brown and hard for some people to accept that he is the President...Too bad about your tools getting stolen not all us brown folk are thieves!

Hey Snapshot... Just one question, in this day and age with candidates having an endless amount of money, don't you think that their information gathering Research and Consulting firms would be all over the people associated with President Blackenstein? If I were Romney I would be and would question the President his association with these people every chance I had. It may be that if indeed these people influenced and fixed Obama the presidency is not at all true and it is just a scare tactic to influence the undecided voter. I hear you and one has to be well informed on the choice they will make soon. Unless it is factual and concrete...blogs and opinions are like a#####es everybody has one. Maybe if we try hard enough Obama was standing with Bigfoot on the grassy knoll the day Kennedy was shot....Just my two cents!

I went to see for myself what all the hoopla was about regarding this "Must See" film. All I can tell you all is don't waste your hard earned money on this garbage. *2016 Obama's America...While the movie certainly quotes much from Obama directly, the unsupported claims are the clincher. You need to take into account who is saying them. There's too much unsupported B. S. in this movie wrapped around "out of context direct quotes from Obama. It is no different than Michael Moore bashing Bush in the same way. I think it's sad how much elections are about bashing the other guy. Make your mind up on the policies each candidate brings forth. Is there a clear distinction between the two? Don't make your mind up on the B.S. of this movie. Fact is, both candidates are good, smart men who are very capable of leading this country. The two have very different perspectives. PS- I am a registered republican and you know who I will be voting for in November. Dinesh D'Souza is the republican version of the dems Michael Moore.

    SB1070

Hey Ernesto and everybody else... I hear you, Brother and I agree with a few of the points some of you have posted. No matter how much we try to make people understand about escaping horrible living conditions i. e. someone from a Central or South America tries to cross the border in search of a better life. Such is life down there that they are willing to risk limb and life to reach the land of plenty by heading to El Norte. The average Mexican earns about 11 to 17 dollars a day and that is generous some from other poorer countries earn way less. If I was in the same boat perhaps I'd be risking everything to come to this great land too. As unfortunate as this situation is for many, I would be willing to bet nobody either U.S. citizen or legal resident would be picking lettuce for minimum wage under 113 degree heat in Yuma or Imperial Valley from sunup to sundown sometimes up to seven days a week. You are also right that some of these points alienate some and make others feel uncomfortable thus dividing people in this forum. This discussion forum is great, fun, and very informative but it is about Coues Whitetail hunting. I have met some very nice people that are just as passionate about hunting as I. But I ask that the Political Discussions section be left out. Besides, I think I'm not the only one on here that wants Snapshot to just let it go already. Just my three cents!

    Regrets of the Dying

Talk about regrets of a person dying. I sometimes wonder if I have any regrets that I have yet to want to resolve/fulfill. Whoever started this thread, thank you! I too get philosophical especially when I think back on my own mortality, but this is not about me. I lost my hunting buddy going on two years this coming April. I wonder if he had any regrets. Luis Francisco Coronado was his name and to many he may be just a name. I think he touched some people's lives while he was here. I know he was very special to me and there is not a day that passes that I don't think about him. To me, he was the ultimate hunting partner, he was the ultimate friend, he was the ultimate psychologist, and truth be known he was the ultimate everything. I spent a lot of time with him before he died. You know, that while he was suffering with cancer not once did I hear him complain about his illness or his pain. To this day I don't recall him ever saying anything negative about his affliction. If he had any regrets I do not recall him ever saying them. Luis was my brother-in-law and I think as unfair as life is he truly was dealt the short end of the stick. Living with that disease/sickness is not living. I saw him as a vibrant young man and the cancer wasted him to a shell of the man I knew. That is why I always say we must live life to the fullest every single day we are here, so we don't have any regrets when we leave. To quote one of my favorite movies, "get busy living or get busy dying, you're *#@*)(^$ right."

    This one has both horns....

Wut Up Casey? Nice job and sorry that I hadn't posted to congratulate you. I thought that I would show you one of the three bucks that I saw while I was out scouting but they did not materialize oh well; considering there were a few too many hunters pushing deer in that unit since October and we had to wait for December to come around. We did see some nice deer and now you know some more of that country. The hunting was awesome and the fact that you connected is icing on the cake. It may not have been the one we wanted but there is next season to look forward to. Hey congratulations and now Jim and I will start calling you a "Bad butt".
