It really sucks because mostly everything is replaceable except some of my mom's jewelry that means a lot to her and that buck. I just imagine it tossed to rot somewhere. Theives are the worst kind of people.

Not just the freezer. They took a lot of things from the house. They looked in all the freezers, I guess it's a thing for people to hide valuables in them. I've been raging about the situation since it happened. I wish I could've found them in the act.

probably a tweaker. Exactly what I was thinking. You can see where someone kicked the door in with their greasy bare feet.
-
It's definitely possible. They live off of Lindsay though so I don't know if someone saw them packing up maybe.

Yeah I have no idea. I don't see how it could mean anything to anyone but me.

It happened in Mesa.

Your Favorite Archery Shop in the Valley
LifeFeedsOnLife replied to WarrZone's topic in The Campfire
My favorite so far has been Ross Outdoors. It's a bit of a drive for me but worth it, their customer service has far surpassed the shop closest to me. -

Nice write up. I will say I actually prefer the guide pants in warm weather hiking. Sure you get sweaty but to me they are far more breathable than anything else I've worn. Plus I haven't run into any chafing while wearing them. I seriously love them.

U sure dat wasn't a woof wat? Haha yeah, seen plenty of those over at my parent's place. My dogs enjoy chewing them up.

Seen one running down McKellips near Greenfield a few years back. Had just come out of the orange groves.

I've heard the story before but not as detailed. Grew up hunting mule deer on the blue, it's one of my favorite places. Don't know too much about the whitetail in the area but I've got a tag this year so I've been doing some scouting. This is a cool post.

I checked my trail cam this weekend and unfortunately no bucks but I did get a decent bear. This is in the high desert and I'm wondering whether bears will stick around through the heat of the summer or will it be long gone by the time the season rolls around?

Bears and Water

Not sure how big to consider it but the black one does seem a fair bit bigger than the brown one. -
Bears and Water
LifeFeedsOnLife replied to LifeFeedsOnLife's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
I'll post the pics when I can here in a bit. Looking on Google Earth it seems like he's already is hanging around some of the highest peaks in the area so I'm not sure where he'll go but I'm sure he can figure something out. I probably won't check the cam for a bit mainly because I won't feel like hiking down there once it gets real hot. -

Yeah I guess I'll see if i can figure out what he's eating out there and hope I keep getting pics. -
Trap it and take it to the desert. I'm sure the coyotes would enjoy it.

Sunflower mine area in the mazatzals.

how do they stand up to cat claw I haven't got into the cat claw with them yet but I'd imagine they'd snag somewhat.

First lite corrugate guide pants are probably some of the most comfortable pants I've worn. Very lightweight and stretchy throughout.

No deer but did find two pronghorn fawns while out for a drive near mormon lake a couple years back.

How does late Oct hunting differ from Nov/ Dec
LifeFeedsOnLife replied to no worries's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I had the early November hunt two years ago and it was still blazing hot and less deer activity from what I can tell. Last year had the thanksgiving hunt and was quite a bit cooler with lots of activity, was even able to tag out. -
I love horses and do enjoy seeing them but personally I'd much prefer seeing more native wildlife like mule deer when I'm at the river then hundreds of feral Indian ponies tromping around.

I go quite often just not with homemade equipment. I've tried that route and it didn't turn out for me... By the the time you get goggles, snorkel and fins I figure you might as well get a decent spear I've had mine for years. And yes only carp and stripers are legal to spear and striper only at pleasant but I'd have to double check.
