I'll be east but using Google street view it looks like there's a couple pumps.
-
Yeah I meant the little town by the lake. I'll be in 5B N, I've got a few spots in mind and I know about clints well and flag but I figure mormon lake would potentially be quicker to get to depending where I end up.

Oops double posted... not sure how to delete.

It's been a while since I've been into that little Mormon lake town or whatever you want to call it. Does anyone know if there's a gas station there? I'll be hunting elk up that way and at times it may be the closest settlement.

There's a sportsman's in Show Low!

I use this one and have no complaints. https://m.fieldandstreamshop.com/p/allen-gear-fit-pro-bow-case-15alnugrftprbwcsxaro/15alnugrftprbwcsxaro?camp=SEM:FNS_92700040576728762_nonbrand_pla-297110119136&gclid=CjwKCAjwnef6BRAgEiwAgv8mQdZaJXG161jYqXy7na5DvcgnOYdAqMndbQVXXjmccCiUYrDubHC_zxoC4mYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I agree it probably is unethical. I think a dozen guys camping on top of a bull for weeks is probably unethical as well. Didn't seem like a great example of fair chase.

Where are all the scouting pictures of velvet bulls????

Sweet pack. If you have no luck selling here you might try rokslide. -
Bino help, Vortex vs Meopta
LifeFeedsOnLife replied to MesquiteDweller's topic in Optics and tripods
I would choose Meopta over vortex 10 out of 10 times. Great glass for the price. -
I took it as he was saying it would be a good sized buck to shoot with a December tag but not a commission tag.
-
Do you get your points back though if you donate it to an org?
-
Mandatory harvest reporting for deer. At the very least for archery deer.
-
In the commission meetings I've watched I rarely see hunters there advocating for anything.
-
Interesting I never saw the version that extends like that. Will make a good setup for someone.
-
I believe that's the optics pack. Great setup either way.

I've heard of elk being infected with brain worms here and there. I wonder if that could be the case. In both moose and elk, infestation can lead to fatality. Blockage of the carotid and other arteries of the head and face region by E. schneideri adults restricts local bloodflow, leading to ischemic damage to the brain, optic nerve, ears, muzzle and other facial areas. The results are often blindness; walking in circles or poor coordination (ataxia); dermatitis or gangrene of the ears, muzzle or nostrils; abnormal antler growth; or death. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaeophora_schneideri

Yeah hit the 188 about noon and traffic wasn't terrible until turning into globe and all the little lights in Miami. Had another slow down at queen creek canyon.
-
Had to go from payson to globe to get home from up north yesterday.
-
Probably just call in.
-
May not be the only reason to go but hard to argue that it makes a more enjoyable time. With as much moisture as we've been getting it seems silly and overstepping to have bans already.

Haven't caught a crappie since I was a kid. I may have to hit the lake.

They're already petitioning for an overpass over Bush highway. They're lunacy has no bounds.
