I agree totaly, but I practice at those distances to ensure I can make the shot at 60 or 70 yards. but if I did see a 360 bull at 90 yrds.... lol, if I was to ever take that shot I would make sure conditions was perfect (no wind, elk was not moving, wasnt looking at me ect,) I look at it as if I was shooting with a rifle at 1000 yards. (yes i am very well set up for it, I have shoot a couse at 720, yrds and another at 830 yrds,) i would take the shot, but only under certain conditions. Lol not to start a discusion about ethical shots!

I have a 6a early archery bull hunt. Im deffenetly pumped for it! is there any tips from all experts? Besides all the obvious like getting in shape, practising, ect? When do you find the best time to call is? Or do you prefere to keep quiet? More cow, or bull calls? Do you think sitting water is a good idea? Lol, I hate sitting still. I dont mind getting up high and glassing, but I grew up in Oklahoma and I despise the thought of being cramped all day in a blind! Are yall more aggresive and go, or do you prefer to sit and let the bull come to you? This will be my third archery bull hunt in AZ sense i have moved here 10 years ago, and it seems like the most luck I have experienced is to not call so much, just slip in the herd! And deffenetly more cow calls than bull calls. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

lol! I am doing that! I'm consistantly practising at 90 yrds, hiking and ect

Thanks for all the info! keep it up! I had the same tag 2 yars ago, it was a blast! Younghuter helped me tag out on a young bull opening day. I have a primos terminator, and i can cow and bull call well on it.

I was just gonna give a two thumbs up to Danner! I got a pair of Jackals2 last year in September, and before archery deer in January they was leaking water. I sent them back to Danner and they called me two weeks later and told me that I get $150 credit towards a new pair. So I picked the 452 Radicals for $160, the man I was talking to told me that sense the new boots was only $10 difference they will just give them to me for no extra charge! how many companys today will stand up to their products that well?

Was that even a big bear? Looked like 250lbs? Nature at its best!!!

Has anyone had success with the Outdoorsman packs? I'm looking to buy one. but wasn't sure if they hold up well. And what do yall know about the external frame, v.s the internal frame?
-
This helps a lot! I currently have a black creek western hunter.. its an ok pack, but not big enough, and the zippers and buckles have not held up well at all. i send it back to them about twice a year. and im getting tired of it. but I like the reviews I've been reading.

Lol I know this is late, but in 2010 my dad used a switchback with 275 grain arrows with a two blade rage, and got great penetration, it was a quartering away shot, @ 88 yrds. and the arrow was completly buried in the body fletchings and all. last year i shot a bull @76yrds, with the ulmer edge, great penetration. both bows are shooting 70lbs, and going around 300 fps, here is my bull you can see the entry hole -
A friend is offering me his Hoyt Turbo Hawk for cheap, i currently have a Hoyt Vtech. does anyone have any feedback on the Turbo Hawk? do yall think its worth to spend money on it?
-
when i say cheap i say $250 its a 2009 model. Altho I have heard that the turbo series is a lower end bow.
-
ok.. that helps alot!

I have been wanting to help eliminate the coyote problem and get some hunting in at the same time but I know absolutely nothing about coyote hunting. I do have a Foxpro Fury 2. however... Could yall give me some pointers as to how to set a spot up? Is it a good idea to use a blind? and do yall have a bunch of different spots you go hit every time you go out? Or do you sit tight for several hours? sorry for all the stupid questions.

I agree with bojangles.. talk about embarrassing.. sense when does hunting and golf have anything to do in common? Lets see here.. Ummmmmm with golf you have to aim, to put it in the hole, and hunting you have to aim to hit your animal.. But besides that. What?
