Amen to that! Nice Outlook for the Fall Mr. Edge!

I agree with the Kodiak. Just bought mine. If you still don't like the canvas idea you can buy my old 10x14 Cabelas cabin tent. It's 10x14 as well. Can set it up by yourself. All zippers good and no rips or tears. $100.

Thanks Guys. I agree it should be okay but I'm paranoid after dropping that much money. Good idea about the awning.

I've got a question for all of you kodiak tent owners. Just got my 10x14 tent and want to season it. My concern is the humidity now that the monsoons have started. Will it mildew when "dried out" and rolled up in 40% humidity? Don't want to ruin it before it ever gets used.

I don't think you fixed stupid, but you sure scared stupid!

This post made me Jones for some ribs. Put some on yesterday using the 2-2-1 method. Went a little too heavy on the rub but they were falling off the bones. Almost dropped some cause they were so tender (dogs not happy that I saved them). Thanks SJVCON. I'm about smoked out for the weekend. I've got hickory farts now. Forgot pics of the Tri Tips but here's a pic of the ribs.

Very Nice. Brings your own touch but keeps you close to your Dad! -
Great pics (as always). That Owl seems like he's looking straight through you!

Hope they come out good. Try the 3-2-1 method or with baby backs it's 2-2-1. 2 hours smoking, 2 hours wrapped in foil with apple juice and then 1 hour back in the smoker. Last hour you need to watch close. When the meat pulls away from the bone about 1/8 inch take them off. let em rest for a while and bingo. Game doesn't have enough fat. You could smoke for an hour or so then wrap in foil the rest of the time. I've got Tri Tips smoking right now. Mmmmmmm can't wait! Good Luck and enjoy the ribs. Post up them pictures!

May God Bless all of our troops and first responders who are not going to be with family to celebrate. I hope everyone stays safe and has a great weekend. TJ, Hope you are getting holiday pay for this. What time should all of us come by to taste those ribs? Haha. I'm stayin home smoking Tri Tips and enjoy a Margarita or three. This is the first 4th with our new pup Dexter. Curious to see how he does with fireworks. He was funny to watch for his first monsoon yesterday. he's never felt rain before!

Great pictures. Loved them all except for the snake. Don't like snakes! Glad you got to get away. -

This sure is an interesting subject. I've worked in the high tech industries all my life including 10 years at Sandia National Labs. Most of the Scientists I worked with were firm believers in God. We can always poke holes in the Bible when it comes to creation. they say it took 6 days for God to create everything. How long is a day for God? May not be the same as our day. Science and medicine are always making great strides in discovering new things. I had an ACL graph 20 something years ago. I am so glad that doctors figured out that after a year in your body tendon cell structure will turn to ligament cell structure. INCREDIBLE! How does that happen? I believe that God made our bodies in such an incredible way that it heals itself. God also had a hand in creating the doctors and scientists that made these discoveries. Every time I see the sun rise I thank God for the wonderful world he created and the blessings he has bestowed on me. I am not telling you that I am right and you are wrong. I just believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They've been good to me and mine. Some food for thought. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/10/1018_041018_science_religion.html As for the initial topic. I think that to make a relationship work both people have to be like minded in their thoughts on religion (or lack thereof). My first marriage didn't work out to well. Mostly because we were too young but, her lack of faith and my great faith did NOT help make the marriage work. Fortunately that experience took me to the place where I met the Love of my life and made me a better husband. 28 years and going strong.God does have a plan!

BFG AT's have always been great for me. Tried the Yokohama's last go around. Really liked them until they ran out of tread at 23k miles! Right now I'm running the BFG Rugged Terrains. Very happy so far but only have 10k on them.

How to dispatch trapped animal?

Always shot em in the ear with a 22. -
They are SWEET! I Love my 1911's.

Great Pics guys. That looks like the best way to get back in there for the big bucks but me and horses have never had that great a relationship. Being large economy sized now you'd have to throw me on a Clydesdale and I don't bounce as good as used too.

Sounds like Couples Wednesday night is in order to prep for Friday!

Welcome to the site and AZ. You will love both although July isn't the time to move to the valley! You'll feel like you're living 2 feet from Hades! Good luck on the job hunt.
