I have been bitten and that's why I HATE rattlesnakes!!! It was a dry bite but still got to spend 5 days in the hospital. I wear gators and carry my snakebite kit on every hunt, even December elk (when I get drawn).Too many close encounters to not have in the back of your head all the time.

I have the Turtleskins and always wear them in October. I HATE rattlesnakes!!!

All, Could you please say a prayer for my Dad. He went in for his 4th angioplasty and it didn't go that well. He's in ICU because the arterial wall was damaged during the procedure and they couldn't finish it. He will have to back in a month or so to get it completed! Thanks Wink

Thank you ALL for prayers. Believe they helped us get through this. Dad is home now and doing pretty good. He's more sore from this one but that's okay. We will see what happens in a month! Thanks again to all of you!
