I'm sure this isn't anything new to a lot of you, but Vortex's warranty is amazing. I was recently given a used Diamondback 4-12x40 AO riflescope from my father-in-law. This by itself was an awesome gesture. However, upon closer inspection I noticed some pretty significant dents in the tube due to over-tightening of the scope rings. So I thought, hey, I'll just give Vortex a call. Sure enough, their service department told me to send it in. Exactly a week to the day that I sent it out I came home today to a brand new, in-the-box, scope. Wow. Talk about a quick turnaround. This only ensures that my future optics will be purchased through Vortex. Outstanding! Just thought I'd share...

Went out and explored the area south of Tucson near the Santa Rita. Found some potential spots to try in the future. Too many people out there at the time. Didn't really get a chance to try calling any in.

I have the next couple of days off with my son and I was thinking about taking him out with me and possibly going after some yotes. I live in Sahuarita and would like to stay somewhat close. Does anyone have any advice? I'm not looking to get anyone's honey holes, just general areas. If I can stay near the Santa Rita experimental range, I'd be happy. Just not sure how much luck I'd have.
