    Another Border agent killed

My condolences to the families involved. That being said, it looks like this was friendly fire. Also looks like some people aren't willing to accept the truth if it was? A sad situation for sure...

name='firstcoueswas80' timestamp='1342164491' post='316654'] Sorry that facts sometimes upset you..... I'm not going to apologize for what I said. Race, creed, nor color had anything to do with it. Simply fact, this particular truck is often taken to Mexico. For example, the mexican nationals whom I had struck a deal with for this exact same truck had stated "I was going to take it to mexico but decided to sell it." Facts...could you please tell me where you got your "facts" from? Do you have a website or actual data that wold support your "facts" that Toyota Trucks headed South on I-19 are going to stay there and you wont get a chance at buying it because you already bought one? Seems to me your "facts" are nothing more than mere speculation or personal vendetta/bigotry on your part unless you PROVE me otherwise. "Race, creed, nor color had anything to do with it " Then to what race were you referring to? I think we're all smart enough to know "who" you were referring to. Maybe the Mexican National that you struck a deal with found out that he couldn't import that year truck LEGALLY so he decided to sell it and be within the LAW? Or did you just assume he was a scummbag on your own? So if I see a Toyota truck Eastbound on I-10 loaded with fried chicken and watermellon I can just @$$-u-me (like you) That it's headed for Alabama? C'mon!

name='firstcoueswas80' timestamp='1342146504' post='316596'] Lance, how do you know they were bound to Mexico? Do you have proof? Soo, they were overloaded from yardsale crap huh? How the "you know what" do you know that? Go to Mexico...bud, I've spent more time down there than you know, so please don't tell me about what's down there. I'll forget more than you'll ever know about that place! sorry. First coues was 80...Although I do respect your opinion sometimes because you've been on here awhile, but your statements just rubbed me the wrong way. Kinda when you blasted the other member about how you could get the same .357 for...what, 20-30 dollars less?! Just uncalled for... To the OP... I posted a Toyota 4x4 truck on CWT for two weeks for $1200. Had a member come and look at it and tell me he wanted it. A week later he PM'd me saying he basically flaked out. I posted it on CL and within 2 hours I sold it for $1600 so don't feel bad if you get more money for it...

name='firstcoueswas80' timestamp='1341889823' post='316021'] I see then going down 10/19 all the time. Somehow that's where they seem to end up.... They always fund ways around rules. So just because they're going down the 10/19 means they're all going to Mexico to stay? That's where they end up? You have proof of this? Who is "they"?

Three months ago, I'd be meeting you tomorrow with cash in hand. I have wanted one of these for a LONG time. But times got tight and I needed the money elsewhere. This is a GREAT truck and a very very good price on it. Some one PLEASE buy it so that it doesn't get bought and taken to Mexico! Don't have to worry about this one going to Mexico as trucks have to be between 10-15 years old to be imported...no more, no less. Bump for a nice truck.

These originally sold for $199 for the tent without the footprint. Asking $140.00 shipped. Trades welcome on all tents! Rifles, pistols, scopes, binos, projectiles and reloading components, Barnes bullets, packs, .22's, etc. Please respond thru PM. Thank you. Here's some info I found online: Description Solitude has a hooped design that maximizes living space with a minimum amount of weight--perfect for solo treks or bike tours. Clear, non-yellowing, non-clouding rainfly window lets you view outside conditions without letting the elements in. Waterproof, taut polyester ripstop rainfly provides perfect 3-season protection; integral vestibule gives you covered gear storage. Two mesh intake vents and 2 canopy vents allow flow-through ventilation. D-shaped mesh door provides ventilation and stays off the ground when open. Two interior pockets let you store small essentials off of the tent floor. Abrasion-resistant nylon taffeta bathtub floor with extra coating ensures waterproofness; off-ground seams form a tub to keep ground water out. Durable ripstop nylon canopy is treated with mildew- and UV-inhibitors to increase the tent's life. Retail: $199 Reviewed by: Greg DiBernardo, a Backpacker from Wyckoff, NJ Date Reviewed: 5/8/2002 6:22:26 AM Overall Rating: ValueRating: Summary: The Solitude is very easy to pitch as long as you are able to stake it out. I've never set it up on rocks but would imagine it is possible, albeit a bit more difficult. Size-wise, I think it's perfect. I'm 5-10 and have plenty of room inside. This tent is obviously not marketed as a bivy shelter and it should not be. IMHO, I'd much rather carry this 3lb. tent and know I'll be confortable rather than a bivy sack. The vestibule is small, but adequate for boots and maybe a small stove setup. The nice thing about it is that you can adjust the fly openings while you are laying down by just unzipping the mesh and sticking your arm out. Very nice feature to have. At $190, the tent is pricey, but well worth it down to the last stitch. MH makes hardcore gear that is built to last and will not fail you. This ain't no Eureka (trust me, I have two Eurekas)! If you know you will really use this tent, I would definitely reccommend it. For occassional use, you might be able to save a few bucks with another brand. Customer Service: None. I've heard MH is really good. Similar Products Tried: Slumberjack Bivy

Here's some info I found online: The Mountain Hardwear Sprite 1 Tent is designed and updated for the solo backpacker or cyclist and packs small with incredibly light weight. The guaranteed waterproof construction of the Sprite 1 Tent includes a fully taped fly and perimeter seam with welded corners and guy clip anchors, and has been rain room tested for 24 hours with 1200 inches of rain.
