Cole Vanwinkle...+100 -
Nope didn't forget...

Let see...5 less Rams that hunters will have an opportunity at and 17 less ewes producing more Rams for future hunters to have an opportunity at... it's not rocket science.
-
That's a lot of Hunter opportunity lost...very unfortunate.
-
3 Rams died during the transplant... I think that makes a total of 22 sheep that have been killed during this project.

That might be the guy we ran into during archery hunt up there...arrowed a nice bull on day one and didn't find it until day 4...meat was spoiled so he just cut off the horns. Not entirely fair to call him a poacher

Was shot at by mules in 35b several years ago. But it's safe right?
-
Posted for Lark: Shelby, 13, shot her first buck this past Saturday. Scored the day she shot it by a competent scorer it groses about 193. Extreemly Heavy. She spent two very long days hanging onto a mule in some of AZ's roughest country with her dad, Nate, and his brother Daniel.

I can understand the First Come First Served way of thinking at a waterhole, but when your out on a Ridgetop how much area are you trying to reserve by getting their first? 100yds? 1/4 mile? As far as the eye can see?

isnt it wild that you can have those feelings, but a guy like lance feels nothing at the sight of a suffering animal. as I said above I feel the recoil of the gun when I find a animal in suffering...and sometimes feel a ringing in my ears.
-
I didn't read anyone say anything wrong about showing excitement, but if you're initial reaction is "lol" after you shoot an animal. you're a different person than me. AZlance, you really don't feel anything when you have to walk up and finish off a wounded animal? You guys are cold as ice. Yes I do feel something...it's called recoil!

Wow...some really self righteous posts here. If I cant have fun when I hunt I don't want to hunt anymore! I have been involved in a lot of kills both as a guide, a friend helping and with family, and I can assure you, I have never once seen any one who felt any remorse, sorrow, or regret for killing the animal. Usually the kill shot is followed by high fives, a hoot, a holler, singing, laughter, and sometimes grown men hugging. But never did I see any of the hunters lower their head in a moment of silence, do the sigh of the cross, say a short prayer for the deer's soul or build a small memorial for the deer. And I'm not afraid to say it, I don't hunt for the meat! I live in the real world where every corner super market carries meat, and it is affordable. So if I'm hungry I go to the store or the restaurant. Most of my game meat is given away to others. I hunt to Kill. It is the ultimate challenge to outsmart a creature that was made to elude predators. I, in fact, am the ultimate predator when I am out there. And while hunting, usually I am telling jokes or reminiscing about past hunts and laughing and having a good time. Laughing at a kill is NOT offensive to me it just a natural release of energy after the hard work it took to get the kill shot. I have shot ducks that crashed into a tree and it was funny, and I laughed! I have shot a Javalina that did a back flip after impact, and it was hilarious. And the best was a Elk that ran straight into a tree after being hit. All laughable moments and times that will be remembered for a long time. If it makes you sad, maybe its time to take up golf...
