Buckeye Cams have 2 different systems... a PC based and a Cell based. I only use the Cell based. Basically you find a spot where you have at least 1 bar of service, and you deploy your cell base there. Then from this one cell base you can run up to 250 cameras of that one cell base. It's line of sight from the Cell Base. They also have Echo units which act as a sensor or a repeater. You can daisy chain the cameras and echo units to reach where you want. Distance between units or to cell base will vary based on which antennas you use... standard dipole antenna will get you up to 2 miles, while a yaggi antenna can get you up to 30 miles. So when you have a deep canyon with no cell service, no problem. Set up your cell base somewhere up high that has service and then put your camera down in the bottom of canyon where there is no service and bingo...you got live pics. If any of you guys have, any questions, message me. The initial investment is a little steep, but after you figure out how much money you will save in gas, time, and vehicle maintenance, it will eventually pay for itself.

I 100% agree with 520hunt. Buckeye Camera Systems is the best live camera system. There is no place you can't put a camera. Buckeye Camera Systems saved me $1000s in gas, time and wear and tear on my vehicles, because I could check my cams from my phone or computer, anywhere in the world.

This is the ridge between Buehman and Bullok canyon... Fire moving down into Bullok Canyon right now. Fire is huge! My guess is everything east of Mt Lemon Hwy burns. On the way out they had closed Reddington Road at the bottom.

This is view from just north of Chimney Rock. Burro, Diablo, Buehman, and bullock canyons are all on fire. Not a firefighter in sight! ft

I'm thinking about going up there just to drive the roads now... anyone want to have UTV races?

I've heard nothing but bad stories from friends and clients who have used Russ. From piss poor camp conditions, buff meat lost due to broken camp freezer, to piss poor guides. It's unfortunate that AZ guides are allowed to run an operation like this if it's true...

It's on the Harshaw road near Santa Nino ranch. That is Nogales in the pics. That fire blew up this after noon!

Crispi are the best boots you will ever own. I hike for a living and easily put 1300+ miles on my last pair.

Just wondering if any of you have used the Ozononics scent eliminator either the 200 or 300 model? Was thinking of purchasing, and wanted some real life stories...

Excellent work!

Any of you Coues whitetail guys at the baseball game tonight? I brought my broom!

Uh oh, there is a high ozone alert for phoenix all this week. Ozone is town is one thing, but sitting in a tiny blind with an ozone machine in your face 14 hours a day, day after day can't be good. I do not use blinds...tree stands only, and the directions don't say anything about pointing it at your face, you are supposed to hang on tree above you and point in the direction of the wind.

Wow, those guys are 10xs worse than the worst Coues Whitetailer...

That's cool if you follow track and field...
