    There is a meeting scheduled about that area in a week or so, (not sure the dates) Game and Fish could tell you the dates. But apparently their are many who want no more hunting in there... and they are getting close to getting their wish.
  15. NEAR RIO RICO - BREAKING NEWS: The Border Patrol has confirmed an agent was shot and killed overnight north of Rio Rico. The Agent has been identified as Brian Terry. At least four suspects are in custody while one is still on the loose. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Terry family for their tragic loss,” said CBP Commissioner Alan Bersin. “Our commitment to Agent Terry and his family is that we will do everything possible to bring to justice those responsible for this despicable act.” The FBI and the Santa Cruz County Sheirff's office are heading the investigation. If you know anything you are being asked to call the authorities.

    9 mule deer poached

    Reward offered in killing of does, fawns near Willcox A reward of up to $4,000 is being offered by Arizona Game and Fish for information on the slaughter of nine mule deer does and fawns near Willcox last week. The incident happened sometime before Dec. 1 when the deer were either run over by a vehicle or shot in a field in the Bonita area north of Willcox, and left there to waste, said Mark Hart, a Game and Fish spokesman. “This is not hunting or done by hunters, this was someone out joy riding and thrill killing wildlife,” John Bacorn, a department manager, said in a news release. “Not only were the deer senselessly killed, but some of the farmer’s crop was needlessly damaged and ruined by the vehicle.” Anyone with information is asked to call Operation Game Thief at 1-800-352-0700.
