Best post of the year! +1000 -
Awesome find that close to the house!

AMEN!

What provider are you using? And are you using a standard antenna or a high gain antenna?
-
That was more BS than an Obama speech without the tele-prompter... Whoever asked you to refrain from posting did us a favor!
-
Lark, remember, none of has the experience to comment on this issue, because we have not worked enough banquets/conventions... At the rate this issue is going, PBJ might be the only one at the banquet. "table for one, please"

What a great site C.W is. I've been a lurker here for many years. I've learned a lot from some positive people just so happens your not one of them. All I ever read out of your walking fingers is cry, cry, piss, piss, moan, then moan some more. You must have some pretty strong fingers, let me guess its not your fault it's your wife's. What a life you must have to sit on the side of the road, eating a roadside sandwich and have nothing better to do other than find Internet service just so you can talk your crap. Get out of the closet already, wipe off your bacon drapes and get a life. Computer tough guy is all you are, must be an exciting thing to look forward to in the morning. BTW most of the people you put down have done way more for wildlife than sitting behind a computer like you. Your just a pot stirring trouble maker like poison in the blood. Sorry just tired of reading your SMACK!!! Hint Your the inspiration for my username. Seriously? Really? You are going to come onto CWT and your first post is going to bash one of the long time members? And then if you are going to call out one of the members, you need to have the Huevos to sign your name! Man up, and send him a private message, you two can meet in some dark parking lot somewhere and hash out your differences (I think I know who will be coming back from that meeting). If you havent figured it out yet, you soon will. Respect here on this site is earned, and with this BS you just posted, you just lost all credibility!
-
PBJ stepping down would be a good way to start the meeting off! If not I will suggest it when its my turn. Something like: "all in favor of PBJ say I" I bet the place will be silent!

Great job Andy!

Do you have examples of where PBJ was threatened? I have been watching this forum pretty closley, and dont remember this? PBJ made a lot of things up, and just wondering if this is one more thing... Please show examples...

This is good information Amanda. Now it looks like John didn't communicate with the rest of the board, and AZSFW basically said to the ADA, we want your money, but we don't care what you think. Time for the ADA to give AZSFW the boot. ADA can rise up out of this to be the leader for wildlife, but they have to take a stand, not hide behind the concept that they too were in the dark and didn't know.

Federal Judge dismisses lawsuit against Rosemont Copper

+1 I too have worked for the mine in Morenci as a sub contractor. The mine in Morenci awarded us contracts for several years and allowed us to hire dozens of people to complete the work. We also bought alot of materials that helped other businesses hire people. So these jobs numbers that people keep spouting off, are not counting all of the jobs that will be created that support the mine. And to add to the jobs we created due to the mine, all of our work was remediation work, which was re-vegetating areas for wild life, adding water catchments for wildlife and creating new riparian habitat. And I know this work paid off, as within a few weeks of our work, the wildlife was back and healthier than before the mine. This work we did was half on the mine property and half on the national forest where the mine had never been. Mining and wildlife can co-exist, look at the units in AZ that already have mining. Unit 27 has one of the largest open pit mines in North America, yet it is one of the most diverse units we have and is one of the most desired units in the state to hunt. -
PBJ has lost all credibility, and if he is going to be speaking at this meeting or any other forum, it is not worth our time. If PBJ wants to take the ADA down with AZSFW on their sinking ship so be it. I think the ADA is better than this, but PBJ is going to need to step aside so they can get back on the right track.

Azman, Are you a plant from the Sierra Club or Center for Biological Diversity? You question whether I really care about hunting, but you are supporting the enviro wackos and siding with them! Nice try! Go back to counting minnows... -

I'm sure if they didn't have the necessary permits your friends at the Center for Biological Diversity and the other enviro wacko groups will be filling another lawsuit at taxpayers expense. -
Where do we go from here?
AZLance replied to archerycrazy's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
If they are really for Az Hunters, they will come out against this bill. If the ADA comes out against this bill, they will survive and I and many others will once again support them. Like I said above, Unless they come out against this bill they need to go away. I don't see how Az Hunters could turn a blind eye to the ADA if they say they support the bill. No one is going after the ADA because of what one person said or didn't say. Hunters are going after the ADA because they have been quiet on this issue and have been reluctant to stand up for AZ hunters on this issue. -

I too have been hunting, hiking and camping in this area for over 30 years. I also own property near the proposed mine. This mine will be good for the area, and the wildlife will continue to thrive just like they have near the Morenci mine. -
Folks, Until the ADA comes out against this bill, they are just as guilty as ASFW and Weiers! Mark Bool and PBJ both claim that, and I will use a quote: "As has already been stated the ADA never did take a vote on this issue. In fact we did not even have a board meeting during the explosion of HB 2072. It was dropped on a Friday and pulled early the following week. We never voted because it was pulled off the table and we were told it would not be reintroduced. For the ADA the issue was a moot point." This is a big LIE! The bill is NOT DEAD, and this issue should NOT be a moot point! I got this e-mail today from Rep Weiers: Dear Lance, Thank you for contacting me regarding HB2072, sale of big game tags. I appreciate your concern as a sportsman of Arizona and wanted to let you know that the bill is being held and will not go forward in its present form. I wish you safe and successful hunting in the future. God Bless, JAMES P. WEIERS Representative, District 10 Arizona House of Representatives So now the truth comes out! The bill is NOT dead, it is just being re-worded, so they can try once again to sneak it thru. Folks, get ready for another battle! And unless you are aginst this bill, we the average hunter should assume that you are for it, and do everything to bring you to your knees, or put you out of business! So ADA, YES or NO? Man up and tell us where you stand!

Unless the ADA comes out against this in their emergency meeting, they need to go away with Weiers and ASFW! -
Congrats to the kid on a once in a lifetime buck! Awesome!
