Roosevelt doesn't get much water from monsoons or huricanes... 99% comes from snow pack melt. Roosevelt has been at 44% for a couple weeks now. Im guessing that if it weren't for these floods it would have dropped to 41% by now

I was there a week ago... square bills in like a gizzard shad color, (Gold over white) in 5- 7ft of water along rocky banks and points was good. Also drop shot in 15-20ft of water with Arrons Magic robo worms or a Berkley power worm blue/green flake fished texas rigged also did good. We mainly fished in around the Salamae cove area.

Bite is on at Rosey... doubled up on a A-Rig the other day... they were also smashing my sexy shad square bill. Bite dropped off after 10 am. I spent the whole day in Salamae Cove caught nice healthy fish.

Fishing was good yesterday... water temp was 75° and water clarity was 5-7 feet in mid lake and 3-4 ft in salt end. Very short windows for top water at first light, then a couple hour reaction bite before we switched to plastics. White chatterbait drug along the bottom worked well, and some drop shot with robo worms. Caught most of fish in 1 to 4 ft of water. Still fish on beds... no fry yet.
