I've been looking at some different setups and was curious to see what the average weight of a long range hunting rifle weighs. I'm wanting to buy a 6.5 creedmore, any suggestions on what to buy would be appreciated! If you wouldn't mind, share what gun you carry and it's weight. (Make and model as well plz) Thx

Thanks for the replies! I'm currently shooting a Remington 700 sps varmint in a .308 topped off with a vx3 and custom Kenton turrets. I also have a timney trigger in it. I shoot well with it, but I don't like the stock and I feel it's "barrel heavy", which makes shooting in the field tough without a solid rest. I'm just kicking around the idea of building something new.

With my current setup I will shoot out to 500 yards. I'm a archery hunter at heart, so I like to shoot 300 yards or less. However, I like shooting at long distance for fun.

How do you like the tikka? I have one in a 22-250 and I really like it. How far you shooting it out to?

I killed mine last year wearing the hat. It was far better then the Montana decoy in my opinion.

You should just send the eotech back to them. The fed's are suing eotech because their optics fail at extreme cold/heat temperatures. They will give you full retail price for it. I got $450 back from them for mine.
