Mounting the camera on the bow will add more weight and can affect how you're arrows fly. I mounted a camera phone on my bow with the s4 jack knife and it affected my shooting drastically. At 20 and 30 yards i was fine but as i shot longer distances i was way off. At 80 yards it made my bow shoot two feet low. It may not affect your bow like it did mine but you should practice with it before you hunt.

I would stay far away from bozarth mesa on opening weekend it will be extremely packed with hunters. It's a great spot by way over hunted.

I agree! I hate reading a article about how some guy showed up on his 2 day guided hunt and shoots a trophy animal that he didn't earn! I'm glad you only publish DIY hunts that's why i plan on buying another magazine from you guys next year. Keep up the good work.

Anywhere between $100 to $150 depending on what kind of string you buy. Most shops do a free tuning if you buy the string from them.

As I understood it in Coconino forest if the road is shown on the Travel Plan map it is open. If it is not shown on the map it is closed. If you swing by and pick up the map it has a list of roads that aren't shown you can drive on. But the problem is you don't know exactly when they end and most of the roads arent that well marked.

Ya i have a 5bn elk tag this year and scouting has been really frustrating! I picked up a FS map they are handing out showing you the roads that are open and it sucks it is way to vague. None of the roads are marked closed so you never really know if you are taking a road that is ok to drive on or not. Plus the map doesn't show all the roads that are open. It makes it hard to follow the rules! It seems to me that it could be very easy to get cited trying to do the right thing! Oh and no downed animal pickup either. Oh well at least i got an elk tag

I bought ths s4 gear jacknife which is basically the same thing. It worked great but it really weighs your bow down. I took it out for practice and it shot great at 20 yards but when i shot 80 yards i was over 3ft low! If you are going to sit in a treestand or blind and not shoot over 30 yards it will work well for you.

We need a good archery shop up north! If you have 3d targets to shoot year round you will definitely draw some good business.

I have the same exact scope with the kenton turrets on mine turn around was 3 to 4 weeks and they are awesome! I don't think you wasted you're money nighthawk i would buy my turrets again in a heart beat.

Everything on the bow makes it shoot slower. Strip everything off the bow (sights,rest,quiver, peep sights ect) then shoot it and you might get the ibo speed. You can call g5 direct and ask them how they aquired the ibo speed they will most likely tell you the same thing. I shoot a mathews z7 Extreme and the ibo is 330 i shoot around 306. That's just how it works. If you want a fast bow look into the PSE's with a shorter brace hieght.

The ibo speeds are kind of a scam. They shoot a 350 grain arrow at 30 inch draw length with nothing on the bow to get that speed. You will most likely never get a bow to shoot the ibo speed. I would say that 270 is right about normal for that bow.

I have never hunted antelope before but from what i have heard from people who have i've heard most people will put there blinds up 1 to 2 weeks before the season starts so the antelope will get use to it. Also if you watch hunting video's most of them always state they have had there blinds up prior to there hunt. Good luck i hope you smoke a good one!

Ok i looked at it a little closer and found out it is a 38 s&w special CTG. I looked it up on gunbroker.com and they are going from anywhere between $350 to $450. I guess i didn't realize it was worth that much ! Oh well $250 (firm) is going to be me price still. The. 308 should be zeored in at 300 yards. If you sight in at 100 yards it will be dead on at 300 yards. I bought a leupold vx3 with reticles and found that they are just a estimate they won't be dead on. Best advise i could give is have someone build you custom turrets for you're scope and specific round you shoot. If you have a chronograph you can shoot 10 rounds through it and average out you're muzzle velocity and send it off to whatever scope manufacturer you use and they will make you custom turrets. I had a gunsmith do mine for $50 and then he sent off the info and in a few weeks i had custom kenton turrets. They work awesome from 100 yards all the way out to 1000 yards.

I killed a bull in 2010 that was a 2x6. I showed it to my buddy thats not a hunter and he asked me why it grew like that and i told him i had no clue. He called game and fish and they told him any time an elk is injured or wounded the antlers will be deformed on whatever side it was injured.
