I just bought the black gold and I really like it. I used to shoot the spothogg 7 deadly pins. It was a great sight just a lot to look at while hunting. I suggest a 5 pin over the 1 pin for hunting so you don't have to make adjustments every time the animal moves. With 5 pins you are set for anything under 60, after that you adjust by sliding the sight down.

Totally my bad. I just didn't want to give the unit away so was looking to use another detail of the kill. I'm fairly new to hunter forums... No worries! I would much rather read a thread about a harvest then 5 pages of ethical shot drama.

Next time you post a topic about a monster buck being harvested, leave out the distance it was shot at please. It completely took away the purpose of this entire thread. This is probably why the hunter didn't post the picture and story of the harvest.

I'm selling the gun for my dad, he got the gun in trade and doesn't have a need for it. He is looking to get $750, or trade for another gun of the same value. He will accept partial trade or cash. It doesn't sound like he has any specific gun in my mind so feel fee to shoot me any trade ideas. The gun appears to be in like new condition, It is a S&W .44 mag model 629 in a 6 1/2 inch barrel. I know he has a S&W 686 in a .357, so he probably is going to be interested. I'll run it by him though.

Not sure which one you bought, but the one I use to have worked really well. I bought it at cabelas for like $80 and I think I have called in more coyotes with my old johnny stewart call then I ever have with my fox pro.

I have yet to be blessed with a antelope tag, however the past 2 years I drew bull tags in 5bn and have seen some monster antelope while elk scouting. If I was sitting on 24 bonus points I would definitely put in for 5b. Good luck to you.

I just bought some practice gravedigger broad heads and they flew awesome out of 80 yards! I think they will be my new broad head of choice.

I try my hardest not to buy anything from cabelas! The guys behind the gun counters are generally very arrogant and insulting ( if you are lucky enough for one to help you). I bought a rifle from them for my dad's Christmas present a few years ago, and they guy looked at me and asked if I knew how much it cost! I guess he felt I couldn't afford it or something?

While hunting in 18b this weekend, I found a very nice tripod adapter! I would like to reunite the adapter with the owner if possible. Shoot me a pm with what kind of adapter it is and where you might have lost it.

Anyone kill a bull in 5bn this year? It's been real slow so far and I haven't heard of any bulls hitting the ground yet. Hopefully this rut kicks off soon!
