I have been doing some scouting the last few weeks in 24. I have been seeing some pretty good bucks. cant wait for my hunt in December.

I don't know about that set up..but I do know the beef cow decoy works awesome.

iv got a friend that has a ranch that borders the grey ranch in unit 27. we have had a lot of fun shooting hogs over the years, and yes they taste great. my buddy went as far as catching a piglet and keeping her. she lives at his house now as a pet. she is around 300 lbs. i would be willing to ask him if a few of us could hunt the ranch for a few days.

I too will be in 24 this year with a rifle.

My wife and I were able to make it out to the hills for a few hours today. I was thinking it was a little early yet to find any browns, but....look what she found. We looked for hours for the other side and were not able to locate it. i might go out again next weekend and look for the match. this was Pam's first coues shed, and she was pumped!

who did the gunsmith work?

i was out over the weekend with my wife and found a fresh coues shed and i thought the same thing..seems kind of early.. especially the date on that trail cam pic

the vortex double is pretty universal and works fairly well.....that being said i tryed the same thing with the 15x50's and you lose a lot of field of view and it is poor image. i dont suggest getting a doubler for that particular set of binos. i gave the doubler to my brother and he uses it with leica 10x42's and he says its ok.

I have used (Optics for Rent) and they are awsome to work with. The optics were in great shape, we rented two sets of 15's and a spotting scope. and they actually gave us one day free. you cant beat the deal!
