It will all come down to the game manager in the unit you are hunting. It's a lot like the DUI law. All the cop needs is suspicion of Inparment even if you blow under legal limit. Same thing will happen with a GM over bait I'm guessing.

Dosnt most bait have salt in it? One could argue that it is ment for live stock. Just like mentioned before the gray area and will be up to the GM if it passes. It could come down to " I didn't put that down the rancher did". I know the usually put out salt blocks but who knows, the rancher might like to spoil his cows.

Still beating myself up from my sept bull hunt. Those dang twigs are invisible when you have the 20 pin on vitals at 18 yards ha! But yes it's redemption time for a filled Coues tag in 35b November 30th. I am ready, but game plan might change a bit depending on what happens with first 2 hunts.

I fletched arrows a while ago with those same fletchings and my groups were way low. Went right back to the blazers and shot normal again. Didnt think it would shoot any different but it did.

Congrats to everyone who brought home the backstraps. Let's hear about some of the close calls everyone had. We got into bulls pretty much every morning but didn't happen due to being busted most of the time. My buddy and I sat water one night had a nice 6x6 push 12 cows had 18 yard shot and my fletching caught a branch enough to send my arrow flying through the air straight up and down. Does anyone know the real percent of tags givin to non residents? We had camps around us from Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California. Seems like a lot more out of staters in that area than residents.

Congrats! Seems like those cows can be harder to get within archery range than a rutting bull. Been busted by way to many cows.
