I have a question. I have two points and put in for 5a archery bull September. I put in same hunt first and second. Would this increase my chances of drawing at all or keep me at the same odds, and flatlander what are my draw odds if you have the time to check later. Thanks!

I've been after one of those mullet pigs for a while. Nice animals you've got there.

Left my bow in the truck this evening with muzzy in hand. Had a 20 yard shot, all i saw was pig through the scope, shot was over the back. Should have taken the bow! Good luck to all.

Is it a lost cause trying to find Remington 700 sps 7mm wsm stainless now a days? Been checking out buds, gunbroker, and all those sites and can't turn up a single gun that's not already "custom" for a price of 2000. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

I agree with 123456. And +1 for archery headquarters. Go in and ask for George. He will set you up right and tune your bow in minutes. He will go out of the way to help you out!

What azslim said, box call with a few different slate calls or few different strikers to create diff sounds. A lot of time you can be calling in an area with two calls and hear nothing then using different striker can produce a gobble.

That's a dandy buck congrats! Sucks to hear about the meat going to the yotes but at least you found your buck.

It funny, on my rifle hunt this year my buddy stayed high guiding me to a bedded deer. He put me 50 yards of him and I had no idea I was that close and he busted, never saw him. I have never been that close while trying to stalk a Coues with a bow. As mentioned, it helps a ton to have radios and someone watching as you stalk. If they are rutting try to a few hundred yards away and rattle maybe. Good luck!
