Nice buck! Huge congrats!!!!

Opener of bear in unit 1 I saw some bulls running together but also saw a good 6x6 running with 10 cows and bugling a little bit. If it's anything like last year all the lucky tag holders will be in for a treat.

Love the different color Mohawk down the back. Nice bear and congrats.

Looks like it will make most theiving scum move on. Good job and like the panning/tilt feature! Do you know how much it weighs?

+1 about not being able to +1 your own comment. Haha that got me laughing a bit.

Cool pics. Is that blue thing a 55 gallon drum cut in half? Is it water or salt?
-
That's sucks! Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago in 6b. I forgot one of the locks to lock up the front cover. Get there 3 weeks later and the sd card was gone but he was nice enough to close the cover and latch it. Scum bags!!!!

Just got home from unit 1 no bears but did leave with more mosquito bites than I've ever had. Didn't sound like the hunters runnin dogs had much luck where we were hunting either.
-
I've had my muzzy for a few years now and shoot it every time we go out to shoot the rifles. I've heard that while hunting you shoot it at end of day and reload next morning from a few people. I don't understand that at all. So my question is, is that really true?

I have a tikka t3 light in 25-06 that I love. Shoot the whinchester ballistic tip 115 grain and that's enough for deer. Have never shot a pig with it but you could switch to a lighter grain bullet. It is a smooth gun and love the action. Being as light as it is, it actually packs a bit of a punch. As said before shop around and shoulder all the ones you are concidering and that will narrow it down a bit.

I will be in 1 also. Saw a few bears during the turkey hunt which means I will see nothing on the bear hunt haha. Good luck to all!
-
Got mine Saturday. Took forever for check to clear though. Last year we got our leftover turkey tags in the mail and the check cleared 2 weeks later.
-
I thought black bears were considered thin skinned? I've never shot one so I don't know for sure.
-
Nice pics. Looks like you guys had an awesome day.

Those are nice looking bulls and love the pics of the cubs.

He will be an interesting one for sure.

Vortex all the way! I have never had a problem returning back to zero. Their prices are on the rise though. They know they can compete

Good deal for sure. Good luck with the sale.

First Time Coues Hunter - Help
Willyhunts2 replied to rhineheimer's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
For sure as far as glassing and a tripod goes. I've done the muley hunt there and scouting around have seen a lot if Coues. Get high and glass the junipers. Pm me if you have problems finding them. -
I messed up on my leftover app and ended up with the hunt right before yours. I always hunt 35b in the east side. My buddy hunted the unit last year with success. The canelo hills stretch from 35b to 35a and that's one of my favorite go to spots in 35b. I can pm you after my hunt and let you know what we see.

Good deal bud. Get that tikka haha

Took time to hang the head from a tree. Sounds like a loser to me!
