That's weird. It usually takes them a few weeks to cash checks for leftovers, charged for 4 bucks is just strange.

Times are changing fellas. Used to be able to draw a coues tag then pick a leftover up. They couldn't get rid of them. Now leftovers that you could walk in and buy at the department are going fast from the app process. 22 archery spring bear, could buy a leftover a day before the hunt now don't even draw it every year. Give it another few years and our "back up" leftovers won't be there. Good luck to everyone on their hunts this fall! -will

On top of that I told my buddy about it and he said he uses the normal draw envelopes every year for leftover and never has problems. I figured they didn't even open them and sent them right back but I guess not.

For the first time ever I sent it to po box like normal draw. I realized I did that and mailed out a new one with right address Sunday. I asked the lady about my situation and she said both will show up there and the will end up sending one back to me. I'm an idiot!

I called and she said you were successful oh wait did you put in for the normal draw? I said yes then she said we haven't received your app yet. What?!?!

The 35b "late hunt" is the 3rd hunt in there that goes into early December not the good December tag. They give you 10 days on that hunt for a reason. It can be tough for sure but I like cooler temps over the sun burn hunt so I'm in for one of those 20 something tags that seem to be dwindling as the years pass.

We need dirt roads going to these lakes. We are out in the AZ country for a reason, getting away from pavement is part of it. Five years ago maybe longer we were driving up there for a turkey hunt the sunrise way and got turned around because they were paving that. We have a cabin up under the rim in 22 and sounds like they will be paving control road in the near future. Got to make everything more Prius friendly!

Lol... huh? I haven't had my coffee yet so forgive me.. but I don't get it.Meaning I didn't draw. I'm saying the draw will be out today so I will also get to see what leftovers are available.

What is everyone doing? I have been setting to what noslar says. How do you know when to change it up? I've read a lot when you start getting inconsistent at longer yardage change the O.A.C.L but do you actually mess with that or change powder, powder charge, or even bullet type? Seems like a ton of different variables, so where do most of you long range shooter start?

Dang would have been perfect for my little girl. Good for you getting them to someone who can use them and get their little ones out free of charge! I'm sure I'm far in line but if people fall through the wife and I would love one.

Ya kind of funny how the elk and deer herds would benefit, really? I'm not sure about the other states mentioned but I'm pretty sure grizzlies being here wouldn't help our deer numbers. I'm pretty sure the cattle ranchers would not be to happy also. The numbers they are talking about is crazy to me, I can't begin to image what the cost to transport all these big bears would be. I'm guessing it will happen eventually just like the wolves, but the wolves arnt liked very much at least on this side of the table.

I'm so used to shooting right handed bolt actions now that it would be weird to switch it up. The rifle I'm having built is even right handed. I'm to deep to try and switch up haha. Good luck to you.
