Don't think I've ever seen a goat at night or a pic of one at night either. Have seen many in the 6B pines over the years though, it's a cool sight every time for sure.

Anyone know of a lab that will test plants to find out if they are poisonous? We had to put our lab down and the vet thinks she ate something on a hike near a creek at our cabin north east of payson. We went back up there and grabbed a few shrooms that we thought could have done it, along with some other plants on the trail. Thanks in advance. -Will

Correct, we wouldn't be able to tell what she ate for sure but would have a decent idea I think. They wanted all sorts of extra money to try and test her liver to "maybe" find out what it was. Thanks for all the info.

We obviously wouldn't let her eat one but the vet said could be a mushroom or plant and we remembered seeing a few little mushrooms on our walk. We didn't see her eat anything but see through up twice on the hike back out. Was throwing up a lot and couldn't even hold down water then got her to emergency vet and had seisure on the way. They said she had liver and kidney failure so had to put her down the next morning. So whatever she got into it happened fast.

I have seen the same type of deal in 22, coues doe running with the flop ear. All the deer pogoed besides one that just ran. I got the binos up and it was a coues doe all the way. The first pic looks like a coues to me.

I see. Pretty sure AKC recognizes them as a pure breed lab cause breeders are offering the papers on them, at least from a few breeders I looked at.

Just had to put our 4 year old chocolate down on Tuesday. We bought her for 250, mom had papers but dad was never registered. It was a craigslist deal. My 10 year old chocolate was purchased from a breeder in Douglas with a rich bird hunting blood line. She is gun shy as can be. Needless to say I will be in the market shortly just like you. Let me know if you find a few pups and I will do the same. I've always been interested in the silvers also just never spent the money. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Mocha, I remember feeling your pain with the post about your dog not to long ago. Everyone that has had to put a dog down or lost one in any way knows that horrible, I need to throw up feeling.

Awesome buck for sure no matter what it scores but I think he's very short of the 200 mark unless the pic is not doing it justice. Not to much wider than the ears and not enough bone to make up for that!
