I have a few gift cards I'm trying to use for a purchase. It's declining the card. I'm assuming it's because the card doesn't cover the total amount. Can I stop by the store and use multiple cards?

Less weight the longer it takes to bump off.

My buddies dad drew the last 2 years in a row both hunts did not hire a guide. Smacked a 201 buck first time and a 230 something last year. They did not know the area very well the first hunt and obviously had a better idea the second time around.

Anybody else score a 22S muzzy tag this year? I've watched from the sidelines but it's my turn this year. Just curious to see if anybody on here has the tag.

OP said he had a different tag. Then came back and said he did not have a hopi tag at all. So he was asking questions about a tag he didn't even have. You will be misinformed when you ask questions about tags you don't have. I have a 22 south tag, is under the rim a good spot?

Alright, the tag you have is good for the whole unit just like if you drew a tag in the normal draw. There are a certain number of tags for the hopi's that's why the hunt number will not match up with what's in the regs. They did not use all the tags so they are added to the leftover list that you filled an app out for. Maybe I'm missing something but if you have a "hopi" 5A tag then you can hunt all of 5A.

I shot one in 22 which I did not recover off of water. The water hole and area around it was covered with bear sign. We have had them on cameras hitting water in 35B but I try to stay in the pines where it's not as hot. Good luck!

I've never really researched the moon phase deal. From what I've seen the Bulls are on fire the cooler it is and if it's hot it can be a real tough hunt. That's just my simple minded way of looking at it but I will be praying for cool temps! I will be in 5A with the bow or 22S with the muzzloader. Either way, the cooler the better.
