In my experience they won’t give you the name or number (I ran into this before when one of the managers was extremely helpful and I’d lost his contact info to thank him after the hunt...they wouldn’t give it to me even by name and would only take a message for him), but I don’t see how they can stop you from emailing or talking to them if you know who they are...I suppose they could prevent their employees from responding.

I call spike. LoL

Exactly the issue I had with my old trailer and fresh tank in the back...once the water got to sloshing even sway bars had a hard time controlling it. Loading tongue-heavy helped, but could still feel it trying to sway when the Fresh tank was full.

Lots of good advice here. Biggest things I’ve learned which were mostly covered already...used is the way to go. I’d personally avoid anything made by Forest River based on personal experience and one of my buddies...we’ve Unfortunately been in a contest seeing who can get the most warranty repairs done. I had an 03 Forest River that I bought on here with no issues...newer stuff isn’t so great. Slide is great, walk-around bed, bunks are a huge plus with kids. For hunting used pay attention to tank capacities, especially fresh and gray. Make sure the fresh tank is in front of the axles or you can have some serious sway issues and end up in the median like BOB mentioned. He’s spot on with speed...any little issues get severely compounded by speed. brands...You mentioned 2 good ones already in Nash and Arctic Fox. I’d also look at Grand Design if they make something in your size range. Tot haulers is a good suggestion too since they tend to be built a little more sturdy and almost all that I’ve seen have much larger tanks.

Sounds awesome...keep us updated!

Are you both putting in for leftover? If so, put in together. I don’t know about FedEx. I’ve always dropped mine in the mail on Fri or Sat from Tucson and never had an issue with it getting there too early. I’ve always assumed even if it gets there on Sat it’s not seen and opened until Monday.

Nice area...I wish. -
Is that $300 for both plus all the accessories? That’s a good deal...

Bump for a nice hitch. I have the exact same one. I like how you move yours...mine is sitting on my kids’ wagon in the garage right now so I can roll it around. LoL

Shooting from a boat in NM
bigorange replied to Sundevils79's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
I have a friend who hunts an area in TN that’s most easily accessible by river...he doesn’t hunt from the boat (I don’t know whether it’s legal there or not), but routinely brings back deer in the boat. One of the funniest pics I’ve seen was a big buck propped up over the bow of the boat like it’s serving as lookout. -
+1 on Bull Basin. Robinson’s is also good if you catch Brian there in the evening or a weekend...

Not being a smart butt...I really don’t know. If there’s no bank account, what’s the deposit go into? Never heard of this...

Yeah I was thinking same...nice buck!

Does any tripod work for Nikon Monarch (once I buy adapter)?
bigorange replied to newazhunter's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
In my experience yes...I started with a pretty cheap photo/video tripod similar to the examples you provided. The adapter should be able to screw onto the quick-detach plate that most tripods use. my biggest recommendation is to figure out the right height if you plan to glass standing up and having much more flexible Tripod leg positioning is a plus. The amazon link has a “support” that locks the legs together...that will be annoying on varied terrain and if you’re trying to use it sitting it makes positioning difficult. Too light or flimsy will also move a lot, especially in the wind. But yeah any of these will work if you’re strapped for cash. -
I’d be all over this if I weren’t spending a bunch of cash on the house right now...
