Had a bull tag in 27 right after the Wallow fire...elk and deer all over the usual places. Maybe not a good comparison since they dropped a bunch of barley in there to help. wonder how many of the 2500ish folks who drew 33 tags have watched their planned areas go up in smoke. Hopefully some good monsoon action makes for a good hunt. Someone mentioned the sheep...local news has been running a few pics of them sighted below the fire in several places. Hopefully most of them got out of the way.

Even if you have hunted 36a a lot check out the youth camp...it’s a great group of people and a lot of fun for the kids.

Good choice. LookIng forward to pics and story from your son’s hunt...good luck! i should add that I’ve never met Duwane but I feel like I’ve known him for years. I called him before my 12aw hunt when I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use a guide. He told me more and gave me more tips and information on that one phone call than I would have imagined.

All of us guys with old eyes missed that. LoL

How many points to draw a tag?
-
Yep. Fully guided October hunt.

Look on your portal for results. I don’t remember how long it takes to show up. Maybe sometime next week.

I’m not brand loyal...bought my Ram 2500 Cummins based on cost and my budget at the time. So far no big complaints but it does ride rough compared to my buddy’s F-250. He tows a lot and puts a lot of miles on the highway...says the F-250 is the best riding 3/4 ton he’s ever had. It does ride nice.

Only my kids and me...plus the one group app for deer. I don’t mind putting everyone in for that one to make sure it gets done and I enjoy hunting with the group so it’s worth it.
-
Maybe I’m a control freak, but the one year someone else put our group in was the most stressful for me. LoL

Similar system here, although it’s just me and one kid putting in. My spreadsheet is a sticky note on my keyboard. I put all the points on one card and the tags on another. With just 2 of us And one being youth it’s not hard to tell who drew when the charges come tomorrow. I also put in the app for myself and a group of friends for deer. Hardest part there is getting everyone to make a decision and give me their info. LoL

Does that S10 have a gooseneck hitch or just looks that way in the pic? My first vehicle was an 82 S10...still like the older ones.

Great story and awesome ram! Thanks for sharing...had a similar experience with a friend of mine’s hunt. Several locals and previous tag holders showed up to help and made for a great time with great people!

For being left-handed of course

Beat me to it. LoL

I’ve run into similar...it gets really noticeable when Freon is a little low. Driving home on interstate from NM one night and drivers side was blowing warm air while passenger side was cool. Made for a long drive with the window down. Recharging it and making sure no leak was the solution. Luckily mine didn’t require the fix I’d seen online to pull off the dash and replace the blend gates.

Agree. I’m still paranoid I’m going to shift mine into 4wd on the freeway when I reach over to adjust the AC.

Got notified my bank is issuing me a new card...not fraud related, just “due” since it expires in a few months I guess. Now I gotta make sure the new card doesn’t get activated until after the draw. LoL

Pretty cool how far this ram has wandered... https://tucson.com/news/local/ramblin-ram-gains-following-on-social-media-as-he-wanders-across-southern-arizona/article_d23b2987-6de1-5a97-a1b4-697735286d0b.html

Taxidermy Mount Badger for sale Game room/Man cave PRICE DROP $600

Bump for a cool mount. What’s the story on the animal? Is it just me or does the rock look like a badger facing the opposite direction? -
Funny I’ve noticed when I go to Ace and Home Depot I’m in the minority when wearing a mask...you might be onto something with the macho idea. I don’t personally care either way but I’m wearing one. I work in and around hospitals enough that I don’t want to spread it if I’ve got it. Some of this argument reminds me of the camo clothing argument...I don’t know if it works or not but it sure doesn’t hurt! And yeah I know nobody is mandating hunters wear camo but the logic is similar.

Ole dick and Steven have lots of good deals it seems.

No that makes perfect sense...I also have a window unit I might put in one of the garages, but no window and it’s wide enough I’d probably have to cut through a stud to install it through the wall. Just thinking through my options...
-
Any specifics on how you exhausted the portable AC? I have a portable AC I’d like to move back and forth between 2 garages and thinking an exhaust vent in each garage would make it easier.

I was thinking about the She Shed commercial the whole time. LoL
