    New Rules starting 8-10-24

May depend on the definition of “processing” and if that includes gutless method. I assume processing means more than quartering or field dressing, so would not include gutless but it would be nice to see them clarify that.

    Starlink

I have friends that use Starlink at home in rural areas and are very pleased with it. I parked my trailer in one of their driveways for a deer hunt and used their Starlink, but that's not really the same as being mobile with it in deer camp. I've heard of some folks using it in camp (Kaibab bison guide Russ Jacoby for one) and pleased with it as well, and I've seen a lot of positive comments on RV forums too. I think the most common issue at least on the RV forums was some line-of-sight issues depending on antenna location and trees/mountains/etc...all those satellites Elon launches have surely helped with that. I think another issue with the RV folks is the mobile plan having more restrictions and having to recalibrate (I don't know if that's the correct terminology) when changing locations. If internet in camp is what you want, I definitely think Starlink is the best provider based on what I've read.

    Silencer wait time???

To my knowledge the cost and fees haven’t changed, just the processing time.

    Early 12a west

When I had that tag maybe 10 yrs ago there were lots of deer in the burn and lots of glassing to be done...also pine and aspen as you mentioned, just depends on where you want to hunt.

I've often wondered this but never compared...my eyes are bad enough I don't think I'd be able to tell the difference either.

    Hiking Machu Pichu

Agree...amazing place. We started in Bolivia at higher altitude (oxygen tanks and coca tea in the hotel kept me from getting too sick from altitude) then worked our way down in elevation. Pretty acclimated when we got to Cusco and Machu Pichu. Amazing trip.

Torn rotator cuff. Any home remedies?

Lots of different places and times for me too...most uncomfortable was incline press with dumbbells. I saw it in the mirror and my wife touched my shoulder just as I popped it back...thought she was going to pass out. Mine popped one time about 20 yrs ago on a cub scout caving trip with my brother and nephew...going through a "fat man squeeze" muddy section I probably didn't have any business crawling through. My nephew is punching me to keep going and I'm crawling along with only one arm trying to pop it back in. That wasn't fun at all.

Torn rotator cuff. Any home remedies?

Sounds like mine…still does it if I’m not careful with a golf club or doing dumbbell press. Every once in a while lose a lot of range of motion. I should probably get it checked again since the last round of PT was less than successful.

    Electric dryer needed

Not hunting related but hoping a good group of guys can help out or have some leads… Our church camp is in need of an electric dryer in good condition if anyone is planning a replacement soon or knows of one available. We have limited funding available to purchase or we can provide a tax receipt if donation is an option. Thanks!
