Was out there last weekend for a quick scouting trip with my neighbor...it was hot and dry but we saw deer in the same areas we’ve seen them before. Not sure if I’d sit water but focusing on areas near water wouldn’t be a bad idea. The tanks we checked had a lot of deer sign.

That’s awesome...I usually never hunt without a lion tag and have never seen one. I was just thinking that I might not get a tag this year before my coues hunt. You’ve changed my mind. Huge congrats!
