Exactly. I usually eat noon-8pm...some days shorter just depends. Basically just shifted to 2 main meals a day. I miss eating breakfasts on weekends, but otherwise not a huge adjustment for me. Overall total daily calorie cut and not eating late at night is helping me too I’m sure. Black coffee all morning seems to kill the hunger. i did get hungrier than usual last week while glassing for my buddy on his coues hunt. I may need to adjust on my hunt In a few weeks...will see.

Down another 2 lbs this week on the intermittent fasting. Intermittent Halloween candy isn’t helping. you know it was a good leg day when you’re afraid to sit on the toilet the following day.

Every time I’ve hunted the birds have been more responsive to calling earlier. I’m sure there could be exceptions to that.

Basic calls...slate or box are easiest To learn and use. and depending on whether early or late hunt some luck. Have fun! 3” from a 12ga will be fine. Get the Hevi-Shot or similar shells...bismuth or tungsten or whatever they use. Much better patterns and success.

Poachers aren’t hunters so they don’t count in those numbers. Duh. LoL

I agree...you know your effective range and you know the load/bullet combo is effective. Coues in the other handgun thread killed with a .40 which isn’t much bigger than 9mm especially with your current load.

Agree that FC is Federal...I have a couple different flavors of Federal including American Eagle and all have the FC stamp. unfortunately that may not help since Federal makes so many different possibilities in 7mm rem mag. Do you have any “before” pics of the bullet that might help identify it?

A couple on my list...Ruger Single Six 22lr/22mag revolver and a 22mag lever action...Not even sure make/model on that one. I also like the Keltec PMR30 semi auto with the 30-Rd mag.
