During my 19a hunt a few years ago I met a hunter wearing a “be the decoy hat” with a tan shirt. He ended up tagging out...sitting water and the buck was out of range. He waited until it walked behind the tank berm then left the blind with the hat on and slowly walked right past does into range of the buck. Sometimes decoys work and sometimes they don’t.

Had an email this morning that I had PM from an unknown person with several others on the thread “Let’s go hunting” - no PM though guess it had already been reported and nuked. Scammers getting creative.

I got added to a PM thread overnight apparently based on email I received...but no PM in my inbox so hopefully already banned.

I agree on all counts. Is any day of remembrance/observance/celebration given its due reverence and recognition anymore?

The only one I’ve used is the mirage drive by Hobie. No real frame of reference, but I liked it and seemed to work well. There was one in the classifieds here maybe a month ago.

Good observation...and technically okay to be worn either way except on a military uniform. when I was playing little league it was our turn to raise the flag one night before the game. One of the coaches came sprinting across the field as the star spangled banner played...we’d raised the flag upside down. I’ve never made that mistake again. LoL
