I’ve been very happy with the marsupial harness and no problems shooting my bow while wearing it. Never heard of issues with the magnets, but it makes sense. I never have my phone or gps very close to the harness. I use 10s as my usual carry binos. A friend I hunted with a bit had switched to 8s and was very pleased with the weight difference plus increased steadiness in hand. He only ever used them on stalks or for a quick look and any still glassing he used 15s on a tripod.

Keep an eye out for elk sheds near the Elkhorn…I hear there’s some big ones there. LoL

I think it’s like any hand-held release without a wrist strap…can leave it clipped to the string.

I’ve thought about this before too…then it seems like it takes longer to properly trigger the back tension release (at least it felt that way when I tried one out) so I’m not sure it would be any faster for me.

My brother had a bug when we were teenagers…he followed lots of friends with 4wd, went mudding in it, took it just about everywhere. LoL

I tried to get mine at Ace which has been the best local tag vendor for me for a while…they told me AZGFD had cut the list of allowed vendors and they couldn’t sell them anymore. Not sure how much truth to that. Got lucky at Walmart and had a knowledgeable lady working.

Welcome to the site. I think your approach worked well for the responses…you didn’t just show up asking for spots, etc…sounds like you’re getting some good info I don’t know that unit myself but have heard good things and have applied for it without drawing. Good luck!

Bump for a nice price. Where are they made now? Got me curious and checked mine…made in Japan too which I hope is a good thing. answered my own question via Google…newer ones made in China like everything else. LoL
