We have a couple first time elk hunters in our crew and one is a kid…more excited to see the kid on his first elk hunt than anything! Can’t wait for that steak too after tag soup for me last year.

I wear contacts…solves my issues with glasses. I keep a spare set in my gear at camp just in case. One of these years I might go the lasik route.

At least half the reason I camp and hunt is fellowship with friends, so I’m probably the opposite and rarely hunt alone.

Nothing wrong with AOL I guess, just makes me hear modem sounds and think of floppy disks with 1 month of free internet when I see it.

Just got the AZGFD blast today…LoL at AOL. I work with a couple folks who still use AOL and cracks me up every time I see an email from them.

I got stuck in Show Low about 15 yrs ago…drove up Fri night for a wedding planning to drive home Sat PM. Over 3 ft in 24 hrs and I didn’t make it home until Monday. Not 7 ft for sure but the most I’ve ever seen fall at once.
