Love the cliffhanger…keep us hanging on for details! Fun following along so far…
-
Right on. Huge congrats!
-
Definitely. Had a similar situation on my buddy’s ram hunt…both hunters ended up tagging out by working together. Good luck!
-
I was going to suggest camofire too. Especially the Kings stuff. They run some good deals and better quality than the cheap stuff at Walmart.
-
Is he still growing? If so that’s hard to go with expensive stuff that gets outgrown. If you’re looking Kuiu there were a couple of good deals on here over the past couple weeks…all too skinny for me so they might fit him.
-
One kid I had to take to Sierra Vista. Just had to watch the website. I’ve heard if you contact them they’ll work kids in. my other kid I took to the YOU hunter Ed camp. That was a good experience.

Awesome buck...congrats!
-
Nice...congrats! Don't see that with a pistol very often.
-
and +1 on ammoseek for finding somewhat reasonable prices online.
-
If you’re still near Tucson (and assuming I’m remembering that correctly) the Ace on Houghton/Valencia had 25-06 last time I was in there. I’m sure it’s overpriced like all of their ammo has been.
-
Where’s 7-08 to tell us about .270 availability? 😂
-
12ga or 10ga? I assume 12 since the interwebs say a 10 would be the “supergoose” but just verifying. any pics?
-
Yes they’re vortex and yes they’re cheap, but this is a really good price for anyone looking for a bargain pair for a kid or to keep in the truck, etc…can’t beat $130 https://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-opmod-diamondback-hd-10x42-binoculars.html

2,890 https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/draw/archerydeerhunting/ Attention Non-Residents Recent changes were made to Arizona statutes and rules that govern the sale of over-the-counter archery deer hunting opportunity in Arizona. These changes affect the sale of archery deer nonpermit-tags (over-the-counter, OTC, tags) to nonresident hunters beginning with the 2023 calendar year. The number of archery deer nonpermit-tags available to nonresidents will be set annually at 10% of the average total sales of archery deer nonpermit-tags for the most recent 5 years, rounding down to the nearest increment of 5. The total OTC archery deer nonpermit-tags available for purchase by nonresidents for the 2023 calendar year will be limited to 2,890 total tags. Once all 2,890 nonresident archery deer nonpermit-tags have been sold, no additional tags will be available for purchase by nonresidents for the 2023 calendar year.

I used them for my antelope several years ago. I was pleased with them.
-
Maybe he can 3D print some plates for big eyes. 😂

This reminds me of my uncle…has killed 100s of deer and other animals. Every one he starts puking and dry heaving with the first cut no matter what. Sort of funny to remember now but it wasn’t when it was my first deer and I didn’t know what I was doing. LoL
-
Beautiful bull…congrats!
-
Same here. I keep a pair of them in my truck. Really good for $130 in my opinion.
-
Definitely on Pinnacle Peak and wearing a tie…my kids still talk about that. LoL
-
All of my usual recommendations have been covered. Saguaro National Park is cool too or maybe a drive to the top of Mt Lemmon…might even be some snow to play in depending on when you’re here. I agree it’s ironic that Tucson is your only option….I ended up going to Phx and Sierra Vista for ours since none available in Tucson at the time.
-
Bump…I’ve never used one but folks seem to love these hitches. Definitely a lot lighter than mine.
-
@muley224 is in the car business and might be able to help.
-
That’s quite a season…congrats to all!

Awesome! Thanks for taking us along for the ride with the updates and great job sticking with it and getting it done. Congrats!
