I drew bull once by myself and cow with one other hunter (we drew 49 and 50 of 50 tags...lucky) Both archery. Put in with 4 total on our app for rifle bull and cow this yr and drew nothing. Going back to archery by myself or with one other next year...my buddies that wanted rifle can put in separately and I'll help them out if they get lucky.

Your probably using your SS#. If you applied with a CC they assigned you a hunter ID# put that in place of your SS#. I think it depends...I used CC and my hunter ID is still my SS#. Should probably change that one of these years...

It happened to me 2 yrs ago in 27...of course then the Wallow Fire happened too. My luck has since run out...building points again.

I was up there the last 2 years. I can't speak to moisture this year, but I think it was better last year since most areas from the fire were open. Lots of hunters in the popular areas and hard to get away from roads. Go where the other hunters wont go and you'll find the elk. Hopefully more undergrowth in the burn areas...pretty open and made for a tough stalk. The barley slopes were very noisy too. Good luck!
