    Future doctor

And more importantly nurses can make your life heck...so listen to them! Kidding aside, listen to your patients and their families and also all members of the healthcare team. Too many folks feel like they're working independently or know it all when we're all working together and should rely on each other's strengths to the betterment of the patient. And congrats...keep hunting throughout school. You're going to need some sort of relief outlet!

    Does?

I hear you...from TN and used to the 3 does per day limit there. It's a different world out here! But you'll learn to love it... And welcome to AZ and the site!

    Free couch. Cactus and tatum

Based on the action shots that's one comfy couch! Reminds me of the free couch my roommate and I got when we were in college...2 of us could lay full length and not touch each other. My uncle has that couch in his basement hunting cave now and the kids love it.

Programmer for 2011 Ram 2500 Cummins

Good input...I really appreciate it. especially the comment about not getting it for the fuel economy, but rather for the fun. I did check out the cumminsforum.com too. Such a learning curve on diesels, but fun too. I'll be cruising that forum a lot too over the next couple of months.. I found out (which I probably should have thought about already) that any code changes will potentially void my warranty, so I'll at least be holding off until the 100k mile point to make my decision.

    Pima county archery range

I keep hearing (from both staff at the rifle range and other hunters) that it's basically finished but waiting on operational budget for them to be able to open it and staff it. Same for the shotgun range across the street. I think the same person told me their fiscal year starts July 1 so would hopefully have the budget then, but not necessarily opening then. Maybe it will be open sometime before early archery season... Looking forward to it opening myself...PSE and TMP just aren't very convenient to us SE Tucson folks.

    National Geo Pic

My kids were so proud the other night...on an evening walk and spotted an owl on the neighbors' chimney. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was a dove deterrent.

    Is it too Late

Found a spike elk shed last year in the middle of a forest road close to a tank in 27...looked like a few quads and trucks had run over it.

  19. Camping at Fool Hollow Lake with the family in a few weeks. Wondering if there are any decent shed hunting spots nearby...would like to take the kids out for a couple of hikes and would love for them to have a chance of finding their first sheds. I know a couple spots in 27, but I'd like to find someplace closer. Thanks!

  24. Towing a trailer from Tucson to Show Low in a few weeks. Wondering the best route. I'm planning to avoid Salt River Canyon since I'm towing with an F-150 and I know that will be tough, but not excited about I-10 an going thru Phoenix. How is the climb from Globe through Payson? Any tough spots to be aware of? Any other routes you'd recommend? Thanks!

Towing route from Tucson to Show Low

Thanks for all the input...I'm not familiar with the Young Road from Globe. How is that compared to 188 past Roosevelt up to Payson? Hard to tell what the road is like, especially between Young and 260 looks to be a smaller road on my older map...? Obviously more direct toward Show Low, but what about the climbs? I towed a little Scamp through the Salt River Canyon with a load of firewood in the truck last Fall, but not sure I want to push my truck to try that again with the larger trailer. Thanks!
