Awesome...some great memories right there. My son is already bugging me to get out again. Taking him with me on the HAM hunt this year, but might have to get him out a couple of times before that!

**Lets here your thoughts about new paper tags AND tags being withheld till jan1. :)
bigorange replied to hoghntr's topic in The Campfire
I'm annoyed that now I have to invest in a plastic sandwich bag to protect paper permit while afield...and then use the same bag and attach it to the animal. What if I'm planning on putting a sandwich in that bag?!? -
moved tag discussion to campfire for further debate and hate mail. :)

Charlie Foxtrot is hard at work on this operation...might as well be printing them ourselves from online, which would actually be a lot better! -
WTB 69 Ford Bronco for a daily driver $500
bigorange replied to cactusjack's topic in Classified Ads
Had one just like that but let it go right before Christmas for $475. Sorry man. -
Another prime example of just how great CWT forum really is.
bigorange replied to AxisWorks LLC's topic in The Campfire
I guess I got lucky and found CWT first...haven't really paid attention to any other forums. Agree 100% every interaction I've had on here has been positive and lots of helpful folks. Great group! Thanks everyone and especially thanks to Amanda and the moderators for supporting us. -
Opinions on Phil Roberston suspension from A&E
bigorange replied to longbowpilot's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Exactly. He has the right to say it, but A&E also has the right to remove him from their network for saying it. Whether what he said was right or wrong. If the people want to make them pay for that decision by boycotting and hitting them in the wallets, then that's our right too. -

bigorange replied to elkhunter's topic in Sticker Sightings!
I'm sure it was you Steve...you seem to get around in that little red truck. -

Nice write-up...sounds like you're hooked now! -
Awesome buck...crazy character. Congrats!

I heard something about a guy named Cole in Tucson...some folk say he does pretty good work.
-
Maybe he was texting his wife because he wants one for Christmas....but yeah that's pretty disturbing. Hopefully nothing comes of it.

My attitude will change once my current dry spell ends, but for right now it's any antlered deer any time of year...I have plenty of buddies to help out on coues rifle if I get lucky in Jan.
-
Pretty crappy planning by AZGFD....how many places that sell tags will even be open on Jan 1 anyway?
-
Nice buck...and nothing wrong with being lucky like that!

Has always sounded like on of Marge Simpson's sisters to me...

Bought the 15x50 non-HD first...made the mistake of trying to carry them. A little heavy around the neck and couldn't freehand very well. Then added some cheaper 10x42 around my neck and now the 15x50 only on a tripod. Works well for me. If only buying one, then Sawbuck is right...consider the 12x50. One of my buddies has the 12x50 and uses them both freehand and on a support. Almost as good as the 15s as far as magnification, wider FOV and brighter.

bigorange replied to Norteno's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Decent Verizon signal all around there...you'll probably be okay with ATT. -

Bump for some nice glass...have had a pair for several years. -
Dang...I completely missed the separate address and sent mine to the usual PO Box. Should always read the instructions...inexcusable.

Anyone want to camp together in 35A for December Hunt?
bigorange replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I can't blame you on either count...heck it's just nice to have some company around the campfire in the evenings no matter where you are! -
I'm in Tucson. I'll take it if something falls through with first buyer.
-
Thanks for sharing...always nice to see your pics!
-
Good luck! Looking forward to pics and stories and hearing about that cooler filling up!

I'd say your chances are pretty good. Any way your buddy or little brother could make it by there the Monday after the wedding? Or get someone to drop it in the mail for you? Congrats on the wedding...I remember how the weeks beforehand are, and I'm impressed you remembered leftovers. Heck I almost forgot about the mail-in deadline and I'm not getting married!

Congrats...awesome!
