Man that's a steal...where are you located? Might have a buddy interested.

I'd give that deadhead to Cole and let the beetles do their thing...I assume they like deadheads too. And yeah that's a really sweet find!

Felt it here in Tucson too. -
That was crazy. Felt it here in Tucson. News says it was 5.2 near Lordsburg. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/monitoring/operations/data/Seismic_Data/telemetry_data/TUC_24hr.html

Thought about this early in the week when I was cleaning up beans on the sidewalk. I should check the tree in front of my house and see if it's a "sweeter" variety and give it a try...

Nice deal...man I need a place to store a boat!

Quick search didn't return anything...one of my buddies just bought a new .308 and the manual recommends running an ammonia wipe through the barrel between shots for the first 10 shots. Any idea of ramifications if this is not done? Any other recommendations on break-in period? He's not looking for long range use, just general use for elk and deer hunting for himself and his kids... Thanks!

Apparently I missed my 1000th post...what do we do to celebrate? Was about to pour a stiff drink based on the day I've had so maybe it will serve 2 purposes...

I'll take it. I'm in Tucson and been thinking about a beestinger...sending PM

Well one is enough for now the way I pour...a little more than 2 fingers with a splash of ginger ale.

Posting for a buddy...PM me for his contact info if interested. In Tucson. Almost new in box Kel-Tec P-3AT .380 with 2 mags. He has only fired 5 times to check function. Previous owner rarely shot it. Price reduced to SOLD Sorry the pic from his phone is a little dark.

Interesting. Same people upset about this were probably upset when they cut their hair years ago. Haven't heard their cover of Tuesday's Gone but I like their cover of Turn the Page.

Extra treats for Rhett today...good boy!

what is the status of the coyote?
bigorange replied to macknnc's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Season is pretty much year-round and recently expanded to include overnight for half the year. Most folks shoot on sight, and as Patrick mentions a lot of folks just leave them laying. I think this is one point of debate...leaving them lay or "doing something with them." The regs list them under "predatory & fur-bearing mammals." Some folks treat them as a predator and others use or sell the pelts depending on season so treat them as fur-bearers. -
Things your huntin buddies do that drive you nuts : )

Always fun when this thread gets resurrected...this time of year it's not following through on draw choices or waiting until the last minute to deal with group applications. -
I had nice stuff when I was 20 too...not many bills and could buy what I wanted. But let's get the thread back on track. Good on you looking for work and hope you find something here. Good luck with the firefighting training too and thanks for going into a service field. Good future for you.

There's a mobile RV repair guy in Tucson that my neighbor has used a lot. I'll send you his contact info. My storage unit on SE side also does trailer repairs and I've used them for bearing and brake work.

I'm afraid you're right. I'll be out there with the family and some friends and already planning on what it takes to comply and be safe...and wondering how many illegal campfires we'll see.
