Agree with elkhunter1...try viewing the card in a regular digital camera (although I can't read my trailcam cards in my Canon...but my buddy can read same card with his Nikon) And also try taking a pic with a digital camera...then see if that pic shows up on the computer.

Nice job getting it done! Congrats! -
Wow...awesome first deer hunt! Congrats!

Still hoping for a Goulds tag, but if I'm betting I think Bob got my 35a tag.

Clarifying...I don't think I've ever not found a single hair in a whole batch from one animal. But never very much That's several animals from several processors. So maybe I have low standards in that regard (because I don't know any better) and should make the drive over to WPG on my next animal...don't give up getting in touch with him. I know he's still there and in business...at a new location.

I've used Dickmans a few times. This last deer I've found a little more hair than usual and some questionable cuts, but overall still a pretty good job. They're at Broadway/Pantano.
-
Is the meat still at Dickmans? I know they've told me in the past that they donate unclaimed meat to a local group that feeds needy and homeless folks. Gospel Rescue Mission or something similar. If not, they might be able to tell you where they donate it.

Yeah turkey would be $25 same as javelina. I have one charge. I'm sure it's my goulds tag and not javelina.

Scope Alignment Tools to Borrow?
bigorange replied to IA Born's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Good stuff...nice to see. One of these years I need to get someone to teach me to properly install/align a scope rather than just winging it like I've always done. -

Nice job...congrats!

Nice buck...now time for that sheep tag!

Brought back some memories of my hunt a couple yrs back. Hiking through that burn is no fun at all especially packing a deer out. Funny story on the tourists too. Great buck and great story. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Awesome...thanks for sharing. Your bucks never disappoint.

I hear they're really big there...as big as a lion...with really cool spots too.

Where'd ya post it. Ive gotta see thisIt's on the Coues Deer Hunting group. And yeah I'm on here and the Broadhead Brotherhood...maybe one of the few that still enjoys both groups. And to answer sundevil it's primarily a bowhunting group but a lot of everything on there depending on the season, especially when not many archery hunts open. A follow up post indicates that the hunter self-reported after the mistake was pointed out. Sucks, but at least did the right thing.

Breakfast is coffee and a bagel for me. Dinner depends...usually something grilled or premade that just needs heating up.

http://rvsolar101.blogspot.com/2013/11/part-1-solar-power-for-your-rv.html?m=1 A lot of good info here...targeted to the off-grid 100% solar RV crowd, but the basics are the same. Others have recommended the 2x 6-volt route which I'd agree with as well as getting a quality controller. There are panels with integrated controller that hook straight to the battery. My buddy has one that works well and he just moves it into the sun depending on where he's camped. I'lol see if I can find a link to it...bought from Amazon I think.

I follow a couple RV forums and this place always comes up as one of the best. Especially popular with the off-grid 100% solar RV crowd.

Nice...congrats!
