Awesome...congrats!

Maybe old news but I hadn't heard of it until recently...have any of you used govx.com for gear or optics? Haven't submitted my documentation to get access yet, but sounds like some really good prices if you have access as a vet, active duty, first responder, LEO, etc...

That's a cool prize.

Wish I'd realized Amazon had same price so I could get that 5% back too...oh well got a nice price on the 45 anyway.

I used to say that when I lived in rural OK...folks would point to the bait shop. LoL
-
No code. Just on the site. I didn't see the sale price until after I hit the buy button. Got mine today.

Similar experience...I think I was in 6th or 7th grade and didn't see the launch...asked a younger student in the hall how it was and he said "it blew up"...I didn't believe him.

Helping my buddy with his picks. He has 5 points and wants pretty much any rifle hunt. Bull would be nice but not necessary. How can I tell which hunts he'd make the max point pool? Or any recommendation on which hunts he'd have the best chance? Thanks!

Agree 100%. Reading it now too. -
I have a friend who writes and shoots lefty but throws righty. I've known a few others the opposite. My kid has learned to shoot lefty due to eye dominance but can also shoot righty very well with something covering left eye.

Looking for a decent flask to keep in my pack for celebratory or "medicinal" purposes...lots of reviews on cheaper ones that I see on Amazon report discoloration or metallic tastes imparted. Anyone have a nice one they'd recommend that doesn't weigh a lot or would break the bank?

Good to know on Wal-Mart...I need to take a look there although the stores near me never have much in stock. I may have some boots that my son outgrew unless they already went to Goodwill. We don't tend to keep much for very long once it's outgrown...

Thanks for all the feedback. Yeah those 2 don't look like any of my hunting buddies, but I'd share a flask with just about anyone depending on what's in it. I had a classic metal flask in mind when I posted this, but I think a nalgene or collapsible may fill the need better for my hunting pack. Thermos and 750ml bottle will stay in camp.

I wouldI would love him and squeeze him and call him George and eat him with taters.

My buddy ran into this when portal first came out...AZGFD told him at that time they were working on a family function and to check back, but apparently never got it working. My kids needed their own email addresses for other things too so we went ahead and created individual portal accounts for them too. Just have to keep all the logins straight. LoL

Maybe my lucky streak on DCA raffles for Rugers will continue.

Welcome to the site. I grew up hunting in the south too. It's different out west but I prefer it. Not sure I could sit in a treestand very long anymore.

When will results be out? Sorry couldn't resist...

In addition to the question already posed about ability to walk/hike or difficulty getting around (you might qualify for a CHAMP permit depending on level of disability)...what area of the state will you be hunting? Lots of helpful folks on here...

I took mine online and just kept trying to get into one of the field day classes. If you're willing to go to any location you should be able to get into one pretty quickly...then fly in to Tucson or Phoenix and drive to wherever.

36a today. Couple medium bucks with 4-5 does each. One bruiser cruising and checking does but didn't stick around long enough.
