This. Just used my daughter’s new rifle with brake on my coues hunt for the first time...ear plugs in the cheek rest pouch on the stock kept them handy...and also packed a set of electronic ear muffs so I could hear my buddy call ranges when we set up. Piece of cake.

Recognize that cheek rest? Works well with the new rifle.

Decent turnout today in 34a. 25 deer, 5 bucks...2 decent ones hanging with does and sparring a little. Wouldnt say they were chasing but definitely following the does around.

I dont know how much truth there is to it but Ive always heard that Xmas originated by using the Greek letter Chi for Christ. Yeah Sundevil was one I talked to a lot about 7-08 before buying my daughters rifle. If hers had come in 7-08 I probably would have gone that route. Prethreaded for break at that price point was hard to pass up.

Time for new tires on my Ram 2500 diesel. Towing a 30' fifth wheel, but also off-roading when I hunt. I've run the "pseudo-offroad" tires that came on the truck and got stuck pretty easily in mud. Getting rid of the current BFG KOs after maybe 35k miles and going with something else...any good recommendations for diesel towing and off-road? I know there's nothing for best of both worlds, but lots of choices out there that look good. A couple I've been reading about...Nitto Terra or Ridge Grapplers, Toyo AT or RT, Pro-Comp or Cooper AT3. Thoughts or experience with these on a diesel appreciated.

Not exactly what you asked, but I really like my Sig 2200.

I had the complete opposite on mine. When I was single i rotated every 2000-3000 miles and got something like 55k out of my first set.How about now that youre rotating them on a more realistic schedule? Or did you sell the Ram? I cant remember...
