The opportunity to sit down with a G&F biologist, have him open up his laptop bring up a topo map of the unit with the flight path of his helicopter and markers were photos were taken and then show you all of those photos is BS? I guess opinions vary.Agree...we got very valuable information including all of the G&F trail cam pics from tanks in the unit.

He said they chased them for miles...didn't say they left the truck. Shot him out the tiny window. LoL Awesome bull...congrats!

Friend is up there now and so far has seen 100s of deer and zero elk. I know nothing about the unit, but hoping someone can help with some info to at least locate some herds. Not sure what specific areas he's hunting but zero fresh elk sign either.

We had a nice custom one made, but in Tucson so probably not helpful. One thing I'd recommend is making sure they weatherstrip it...not a big deal for weather but we've had bugs and even lizards get under and around ours due to the gaps.

Definitely. And if you have a chance talk to the hunters from your unit from last year. Same situation here...my buddy had the tag so I went with him. If he was going to be there with his ram this year I'd probably go again, but he can't make it.

Looking for a couple more of the plastic scope standoffs (I'd call it a spacer but they call it a standoff in the owners manual) for the cheap metal Stack-On gun cabinets. Anyone know where to get them short of calling the company? Or any good DIY ideas to make your own? Running out of room and should prbably just buy a bigger and better safe, but need to make this work for a couple more rifles for now.
