No, that was commission order #29. Which was population management hunts. They approved a few tags for 3C and 3B elk depredation hunts and approved the issuance of their standard 3 HPC special tags. Agenda item #29 is the one in regard to ongoing education. Its after trailcams so might be a minute.

I will gladly eat my words if he is proven innocent. But as I stated before, I as an individual am not subject to the kind of burden of proof that the government is in order to imprison someone. Where there is smoke there is fire. And I have to say, you reap what you sow and Blake has been nothing but a loud mouth narcissistic jerk since showing up around here. He has been asked, counseled, advises and reasoned with by a number of very respected members of this site and has been a disrespectful cuss at every opportunity. I hope he goes to prison and we never have to read his vitriol again. Seeing the hurrendous filth that his brother spewed out over the past few days just confirms what everyone has felt for a long time. I believe I am a reasonable person, and really havent ever had a real problem with anyone on this site, but this creep has taken advantage of every opportunity to troll, berate, hate, swear and treat many members of this site like dirt. I spent an entire summer placing trailcams womdering if they would be stolen because he spent time in the area, because of that I never posted any of my pics. The fact that we have to go to those lengths to avoid a member of this site because he confessed to stealing cams, after he had been accused for a long long time. So Coach, I appreciate your level approach to this and have a lot of respect for you, but please understand why so many of us arent waiting for the years this will take to grind through the justice system. I know this isnt Christ like, but I hope this is a particularly miserable experience for him.

Guys I have searched Richards info as best I can and have not found any data saying that he was charged with a crime. If he is innocent I owe him an apology. I had my info wrong.

I have a boy who turns ten this year that we just found out is having surgery next month and will be working his way back to full strength during the deer hunts. Because of his size and the surgery we will need a minimal recoil solution. I went into Healy today looking to find a .223 youth model for him. After some conversation and explaining the situation they suggested an adjustable stock AR instead of a bolt gun. I told them I had an AR but it had a fixed front post that I didnt really want to swap out for scope mounting. After taking a look at it they found some cantilever mounts that gave him enough eye relief and worked with the post and mounted a scope I already owned. It would have been easy to just sell me the rifle I asked for and move on with things. However, they took the time to understand my needs and then found a solution that worked even though it wasn't necessarily the most profitable outcome for them. I have grown to really like these guys over the years and this is a good example of why. Thanks Mark, awesome crew you got down there, especially Alex who helped us out this AM.

I thought so, that's where hunting began.A man has an elk tag and takes a smaller bull at the end of the season to feed his family and some would criticize that? Bizarreness. My first bull was a spike, second was a rag horn. I was just happy my freezer was filled for a few years each time. Heck in my family a 315 bull is pretty respectable, but hey we only shoot stuff we have tags for so. . . I guess I have never considered whether I am a meat hunter or trophy hunter or anything else. I am just a hunter. Sometimes a bowhunter, sometimes rifle hunter, but never really been too worried about all that. And honestly I havent ever claimed to be great at it (for years I documented my archery javelina struggles of all things) I just like doing it, want to help my kids do it and enjoy the opportunities we get. I have shot dinks (I think I have even posted a buck under the title King of the Dinks), and shot some animals that to me were pretty big. But for the life of me I cant imagine why as I line up a shot I would wonder what all the guys on the internet were going to say about me. I have just never cared about that. I didnt think about that when I married my wife or when I bought that motorcycle either 😀 So maybe thats why I havent ever had the feds show up at my door either.
