Savage 10 FCP-K in 308 with Vortex PST FFP Glass
GTIMANiac replied to GTIMANiac's topic in Classified Ads
Gone to a great new home! -
I bought this back in March 2013 put 10 rounds through it to put it on paper and it's sat in the safe since other than a couple of outings. Started with a new 10 FCP-K 10. Deadnutz mount. Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP glass. Karsten Type-A Cheek Piece. Harris bi-pod. I have not been able to make it out much or work on a load either. Looking for 1800. I am located in Stetson Valley can meet around 59/101, Sportsmans on Yorkshire, 67/Happy Valley. I have box / papers for glass and rifle. I am downtown area Fridays through Tuesdays as well. I would entertain trades towards an old 4wd or a 4wd ATV, maybe something else, try me.

Lots of interest in me splitting this. I would consider splitting only if I have buyers for each. Split would be as follows, these are bottom dollar cash; Rifle 800, includes box, and manual, DNZ Mount and Cheek Piece Glass 900, includes box, shims, and extended throw lever if I can locate it (I never ended up installing it, but in my opinion it does need it) -

Starting over ... almost 8 years since I've shot
GTIMANiac posted a topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
With not being drawn in forever and work schedule I sold my switchback ages ago and haven't shot since then. So essentially I am getting back into archery as a newbie. Bows have come a long way in recent years. Suggestions on shops? I am in far north valley and rather not drive all the way to archery hq unless I have to. -
nevermind ... just read insanity manual ...

I use a TruFire Hardcore though I have big hands and may be selling to get something that's a bit more comfortable for me, keep your eyes open for a fire sale on a 120 dollar release

I drew 11M late archery bull! Here is what I ended up with from Ross; -
Couple of garmin 60csx on CL in the 150 range, that's what I still use as my go-to. Then go to GPS File Depot and snag free maps built on state and federal data. http://www.gpsfiledepot.com

Magnifier on sight in AZ, legal or not?
GTIMANiac replied to GTIMANiac's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I use a montana black gold, thanks for the info guys. -
I have been reading through the regs and also rules and cannot see if I can run an optical magnifier on my bow sight or now. My eyes are pretty bad and a 2x or 4x would sure help ensure I get that vital shot at distance. Anyone know for sure or can point me in the right direction? thanks -scott

Yes ... drew bull. Not sure which of the hunts yet. Started running again time to start flinging a few hundred arrows a week too. -

Great price on that glass. I have that setup on my 10 FCP-K in 308.

I've been to AA on Deer Valley, had my daughter take lessons there. I got the arrogant vibe from their shop though. Perhaps I should give them another try but was leaning towards Bowtech this time versus Mathews, which would send me to Ross. -
Any Polaris Ranger Repairmen in the East Valley?

Mine turned out to be the heat shields as well. Got the exhaust jetthot coated and did away with the shields. -

Most shops are not newbie friendly or inviting to the sport of hunting or recreational or competition shooting, this is one thing I would like to avoid. A lot of shops come off as arrogant and run people off versus greeting them. This is not isolated to bow shops, gun shops do it as well. My wife was chastised and belittled by the owner Randy. No excuse for his behavior. -
got hit as well for elk ...

I am interested. PM Sent.

Hunting just north of Wickenberg calling yotes using cottontail in distress and Badgers are coming in. Had to check regs before smoking one but three have come in so far. Any recommend someone for full body?
