    Travel Tailers... HOLY COW

I actually have plenty of power, but I also have one of the 2005 hot running duramax's. GM didn't make a large enough radiator for these truck and it is causing them to run hotter than normal. On a cool day I can run sunset at 65 mph.

Here you go. Check out this badboy. I really like the design, but not enough water storage. David http://www.glendalerv.com/2006/Titanium/36e41mprv.html

  4. I can personally say that you would do very well with Broken Arrow guide service. I have hunted with him in the past and he has always found deer. He donated a fully guided hunt last year to the RMEF banquet and the gentlemen who bought it shot a coues around 95 inches on the first morning. He has lived in the area he hunts all of his life and knows it very well. Plus, he makes some great mexican food back at camp. David

    Waiting your turn

If you are putting in for an early bull hunt with a rifle, it is going to take years to get drawn. Now on the other hand I drew an archery bull tag in 2001, archery cow 2002, and an archery bull 2005. I bought a point this year since I wanted to hunt bear and won't have time to scout just in case I got drawn. I will be back at it next year though. David

    Travel Tailers... HOLY COW

I have had a bumper pull and now a 32 foot fifth wheel, and I would never go back to a bumper pull. The FW pulls so much better and it is layed out better inside usually. If you get good enough towing it, you can pull it just about anywhere you don't want to damage it. I pulled mine all the way down the Young road to Workmans Creek and back up to the Payson rd. And that was with my quad trailer on the back of my FW(44ft). I will take a picture this weekend when I have everything hooked up to my truck. Play Mor make a very well built toyhauler. They are family owned and will build it to your specs. If you want two 100 gallon water tanks on the bottom they will add them. I am getting a toyhauler next time just for the ease of use. David

    Travel Tailers... HOLY COW

Anything you would ever want to know about is right here on this link. Do a search on a particular trailer you are looking at and you will get alot of answers. Make sure you find one that is good quality and a dealer that has good service. Most of the time you can get anywhere from 25-40 percent off the list price of the trailer, depending on manufacture. There is a place out on bell road called Van's, they are family owned and seem like they are pretty fair. What size trailer are you looking for, and what type of hitch (fifth wheel or bumper pull)? more strange finds

About five years ago while elk hunting in the boonies I found a pair of womens high heels. Of course I looked for a bones, but couldn't find anything. I thought it was kind of weird. I have two seperate mining claims I have found that are in pretty good condition considering one is 65 years old. David

    7mm STW

I have the opportunity to purchase a Ruger #1 7mm STW and was wondering if anybody has used this caliber and what you think of it? Also, anybody have the Ruger with a laminate stock that hunts coues with it. It weighs in at 9lbs, so I don't think I want to lug it around the hills, since my current rifle is only 6lbs. David

    cam pics

In an area I used to hunt in the early 90's you never saw any whitetail down low. When I was in there about three years ago, it was no problem seeing them in the greasewoods. They have really dropped down lower and overtaken the muleys. I think we will start seeing even more crossbreeds. I really like the pictures. Those are some of the best I have seen when it comes to clarity. David

    Rhino or Ranger?

I am probably close to $3500.00, but I got some of my stuff at a discouted price. I mainly bought it just to have a project to work on. I was getting bored around the house, but now I am glad it is almost finished. David

    Backpack recomendations

I have been extremely happy with my Badlands 2800. I can haul a ton in there all day with no problems. I even ripped it while it was on the back of my quad rubbing against some metal. I sent it back and they fixed it with no questions asked. David

    Rhino or Ranger?

I am almost finished with my new hunting rig. I got the rear cage in and soft top. Tested the suspension a little, works great. It drives nice and is super quiet. David

    good coues habitat??

The one out at Pleasant was last weekend and it was a mess. You don't even want to open the packs that you find. Everything smells real bad. I won't even tell you what these people put in there discarded socks. It is very disgusting. There was a good turnout, but I think I might have been the only one from CW to show up. I think we could have had alot better turnout. David

    Browning A-Bolt

I have an A-Bolt in 300mag and love it. It is the stainless stalker with the Boss system. I loaded up some 165 grain sierra boat tails pushing 3250fps (72g/4350) and it was very accurate. I haven't had to tune the barrel much. I mostly make a bullit to match the barrel. Put a SIMS recoil pad on it and you will be able to shoot fifty rounds at the range with no problem. Make sure you have good ear protection while shooting. It will clear most of the guys next to you at Ben Avery.

    little LED light

Check out this little light I found at wal mart. They are only about $1.80 a piece and work pretty good. The boys think they are the best thing ever invented. David http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/fifth/finglite.htm

    Rhino or Ranger?

Jimmy, Is CDI box waterproof? If not, you might want to move it. I like the lights. These toys sure get spendy. I have six IPF's going on the front of mine. I also got a 105 amp alternator to install so it will run the lights and the 9500lb winch. Now I need to start looking for a toyhauler that it will fit into. I wish.

    Rhino or Ranger?

I painted it last Sunday and I am now working on the roll cage. I also got rear bumper with a gas can and tire carrier installed this weekend. She is coming together and hopefully I can take it out and give it a try. David

    generators

I don't know. I have never really thought about selling it. I figured if I do, then I will need it the next week. This sucker weighs 176 lbs. I actually just went out and looked at it. It says Wacker on the frame and G5.6. I thought it Generac. And I was wrong about the wattage, it is 5500.

    generators

Dodger, I have a fifth wheel that I use for hunting, and I have never had to use a generator. I bought two six volt golf cart batteries for mine and they will last five days with no problem. I have even ran my heater every night. I have never used the AC in mine, so I guess if you plan on using the AC then it might be a good idea to get one already installed in the trailer. I have a 6500 watt Generac sitting in my garage that I have not taken with me on one trip. Check out this website, it has a wealth of information. David http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm
  23. Goto photobucket.com and download them there and then you can post the image here. Its real easy once you try it. David
  24. Man, Those are some great pictures. We sure spend alot of time out in the field chasing these animals around. One of these days, hopefully this fall, I am going to shoot me a nice bear or even a lion. David I had alot of fun shooting this little guy a couple years ago. I have shot a bunched of these pigs, but it seems like I have even more fun each time. Of course this big boy is my favorite. If he only knew I was going to be chasing him down in a couple more weeks after I took this picture. His final resting place. You can see in this pic where the arrow entered just behind the last rib quartering away from me, and entered into his heart and right lung. Died within forty yards and a couple minutes. I am very proud of this bull. I can't wait to get him up on my wall.
