I put the GG&G mount on mine, and it works very well. You can pick one up right there in Tucson. David

I think I would just move on to another area deeper in the woods, but before leaving, I would bring out my 1 gallon sprayer filled with water and a heavy dose of mountain lion urine mixed with it. I would then spray that entire area down for the next three months. Plus leave the guy a note letting him know that I would respect his wishes. David

Evinrude 35hp electric start I just had this motor completely gone through to get ready for fishin season. I decided to use this boat for the northern lakes, so I am selling this one to make room for my troller. Here is a list of parts and work. New solenoid New power pack New engine wiring harness New carb kit New gear oil New headgasket New cover gasket New thermostat and sleeve New water pump I have spent more than $500.00 in new parts and labor. I am also including the steering and power controls, dash with gauges, and ignition with key. You are welcome to come over and watch it run. $700.00 obo, or I will consider partial trade for firearms. David

I have never shot one of these guns, but I have read they are very accurate. This gun was for my son, but it is just to heavy for his small ten year old frame. David $750.00 obo.

I am actually trying some of this stuff at one of my cameras up north. It smells so real and is easy to carry around in my pack without worrying about it spilling. I have a very nice pack out in the garage with some funky smelling scent that spilled inside. David http://www.trophyblend.com/products.php?p=1

Mike, Are you throwing your sister in on that deal? David

I will also add an older model Mercury gear driven foot controlled troller motor for free with purchase of the Evinrude. David

Here are some pics I got over the weekend. My buddy was wearing mountain shadow camo and I was in the predator deception. I had a hard time seeing him when he would sit down in the trees. You can see in my pic that I am wearing a dark camo face mask instead of my predator mask. I have had very good luck breaking up my outline at close distance and far away. David

I personally couldn't see any difference between the two when I bought the non HD, but my eyes aren't very good. I mostly carry my little nikon 13-30ED now instead of the heavy Swaro. David

I walked up on one last year in a wilderness area. I was within about ten yards of it when I saw it. When I stopped, it just calmly walked away like I was even there. An hour later it decided to check me out and followed me for about a half mile. I have never been able to glass one up. David

Mike, I bought a flat top last year and thought what a cool lookin stove, but it is very hard to keep clean. You have to use a special cleaner after each use to keep it from burning stains into the top. David

Has anybody tried the ported Comp N Choke in there shotgun for turkey hunting? I have the Benelli super nova and wanted to try something different than the factory choke to give me a little more range and tighter pattern. If you have something else you have used, please speak up and tell me the results. David

Very good video, and a great bull. What type of camera were you using? David

I can honestly say that my Nikon is just as clear as the Swaro, and super lightweight. The only thing I would like to change is my tripod. Once I switch to the carbon fiber than I will have a great lightweight combo. It is also nice for digiscoping. It only goes upto 30 power, but I noticed once it gets to hot, you can't go much higher in magnification anyways. You will not have any problems using it in the early morning, plenty bright enough. You might be able to find one on discount somewhere since they have some new models coming out soon. David

But, do you think those same TV shows getting payed BIG bucks(no pun intended) to use that product would show a bad shot, or an animal that was not retrieved in a short distance. The Rage broadhead is not a bad head. I just feel that it would not be as effeient as a fixed blade head if it were to hit a large bone. I know some people have used it on large animals, but I think you are taking a chance at losing your animal. One test you might try when searching for a new head. First make sure your bow it tuned and then shoot the head to make sure it flys well. Next, shoot it through an old cow hip bone or something of the same thickness and see what type of penetration you get, and how well the blades or head hold up. I have even wrapped leather around a bone with material insided just to see how well in penetrates. Also check the blade sharpness. I spend hours each year trying out new heads just to see how well they would hold up in real world situations. Plus I look for companys that will back there product. If you break a Magnus broadhead, send it back and they will send you a new one with no questions asked. I shot a bull in 05 with a Stinger between the last two ribs on the left side at a hard angle. The arrow traveled the full length of the bull taking out the heart and lung and then penetrated through the right shoulder bone and stopped at the hide. When he started to run, the arrow got pulled back into the body and completely tore up the vitals into jello since the blades are sharp on the front and rear. I just can't see a mechanical doing that type of damage. The bull went less than forty yards and died within 90 seconds or less. David

I started using a small Nikon ED glass spotting scope a couple years ago after I got tired of lugging around my ats 80. It has been a great choice. If you can find one, take a look through it and see what you think. Nikon also has some new ones coming out this year that look like even a better choice. David Here is the one I am using. http://www.nikonsportoptics.com/Products/F...-ED-Angled.html

I have used a blade similar to the rage during a pig hunt. It seemed to work fine, but I would never consider using it on such a large boned animal in case of a less than perfect shot. Go with a fixed blade cut on contact broadhead. I have had excellent results using Magnus broadheads. They are scary sharp, and very strong. David http://www.magnusbroadheads.com/home.html

Dick, I will be sitting at a corporate table during the event. Will the ABA also be honoring the raffle ticket package special at the door? David

I was out at the Bass Pro the other day and spotted a dodge dakota in the parking lot with a CW sticker. I think he might really be into bear hunting though. This sticker was on the back bumper. David

Call Jeff at Arizona Armory. He can build you one to your specs. Plus he uses his own billet lowers that are some of the best I have seen. He built this one for me using a Stag left hand ejection upper reciever. David AZ Armory-602-819-4615

I agree that there are some flaws with the draw system. I spoke with my buddy this morning that drew a very good archery bull tag with only one bonus point. But on a happy note, I get to help him smoke "Mr Big Six" that I have been watching for the last four years. Congrats to all who drew tags, and good luck on your hunts. David

I get nothin and like it. David

Great story Ron. I hope you didn't use all of your energy. Its almost time to get the family back out for some shed hunting. I love the picture. I think they call that pose the "Ron Jeremy". David You must have me confused with Ron....
