Does anybody have a factory synthetic remington 700 stock they removed to use an aftermarket stock? I just need to use it for a couple days to get some measurements. I need long and short action. I will also be looking for a Winchester stock in the future if anybody has one. David

Thanks again Amanda for carrying my new product. I have some more products in the works that is going to give hunters some new gear to add there arsenal of equipment. For any of you that would like to take a closer look at a LOC JAW and even try it on your gun, feel free to contact me. I live in the north valley off the 101, and can even meet up somewhere close by. Plus if you need to add the lower four inch Picatinny rail to your forearm, I can do that for you. It takes me less than ten minutes to drill and tap your forearm. There are some dealers here in town carrying the 4 inch Picatinny rail that I can refer you to. I am working on another video that will show the LOC JAW up close and how easy it installs. There will also be some long range shooting in the video, hopefully there will be a coyote on the other end of the bullet in the video. Here are some more pics to check out. I helped do a clean up some years ago in a location about a mile past the turnoff to Lake Pleasant. It was unbelievable. You wouldn't think there would be a dropoff so close to phx. We filled a 40 yard dumpster and started working on another. David

Here are some nice muleys that were taken over the last couple weekends. The first two were a couple fellas from OK that were a blast to hunt with. These were there first muleys. The last fella was out of MN, and it was his first muley hunt also. He told us great stories about hunting in Africa and Tanzania. We had a couple really nice bucks we were hoping to shoot, but the heat made them go nocturnal. This buck showed himself on the fourth evening of the hunt, so our hunter put a great shot on him. David This ole boy scored right around 165 and still had his velvet. I love the eyegaurds. The very next night we found this one and our hunter was very happy to put him down. He was about 172 inches, and weighed over 350lbs. He scored just over 152 inches and was about 27 inches wide. One of the biggest 2x3's I have seen.

I am lookin to pick up a new GPS soon and would like to hear some feedback on some of the units you guys use. There are a few options I want on the unit that include touchscreen, great reception even in canyons or the vehicle, able to show terrain(elevation) and old and current roads in the area. I am sure there is more, so shoot me some ideas. David

I started using Predator camo in 96 on and off until 2005 when I decided to use it full time. I shot my bull at less than 20 yards with 20 of his cows within ten yards of me for almost 20 minutes. You blend in at long distances and up close. They came out with a new fabric a couple years ago that is great for our warm weather hunting. Look at the succes Double Blinds have had using predator camo. They must have picked it over all the others for a good reason. David

Here's the deal guys, I want to sell this gun before the weekend is over. If it sells for $325, I will give $25- back to Amanda. Do some checking, that is a great deal on this gun. I am also selling my Dave Van Horn custom Encore 300 win mag barrel that has one of his muzzle brakes on it. The brake normally sells for $182 alone. Again I will sell for $325. and give $25- back to Amanda.

Since nobody wants to part with there 20 gauge, how about a Garmin 400t or better. I would even consider throwin in some money for the right unit. David

I use the Thompson Center Encores for most of my hunting now. I know it isn't a great rifle for a fast follow up shot, but it sure makes you a better shot. It is lighter than most of the bolts I have owned in the past. Plus you can change up the caliber quite easily and there are several custom barrel makers that for the Encore. David

I found your dog for you on Saturday and thought you were able to catch him, but I came across him again this morning about five miles away. If you or somebody you know are looking for there dog(black and white) just off the 260 east of mile post 250, then give me a shout. I left a marker from the last time I saw him. He wouldn't come to me and I couldn't find you this morning. I heard you call him Tucker, and tried it, but he wanted nothing to do with me. David

I would also be open to trading for a 20 guage semi auto shotgun for my son. David

We use the Moultrie for our outfit and love it. The camera takes very good pictures and we get the pics very quickly. I actually have a picture of the deer I shot during my muzzy hunt about 4 minutes before I shot him. We are adding some more this year just to save some time in the field and to stay out of the area more. David

Thanks for the recommendations. I have seen the Garmin 60cx in action and was impressed. I had a fella hunting with me last year that had a touch screen that I really liked, but I can't remember who made it. I was able to see the terrain and roads in the area, plus just touch the screen and move it to the next area. David

Bog Pod shooting sticks.....switcheroo or other head?
azhuntnut replied to flyingbrass's topic in Optics and tripods
I actually have a product coming out soon that will allow you to do everything. I am not able to give you an exact release date at this time. I have been working on it for quite some time trying to fine tune everything and make it lightweight for the guys that pack there gear. You will also be able to use it in conjunction with "the claw". I have one other product that will be for AR's that will be out before this other due to the fact it has less manufacturing costs. I will post a video when it is finished. It will be worth the wait. Based on the experience I have with these scopes, I can say that they are very accurate out to 500 yards with a little time behind it. I have shot paper plates out past 400 with my .243 and all I had to do was put the circle on it. I have also shot coyotes at 400 yards with my AR. With any new scope, you need to practice and get proficient with it. Nikon also offers a reticle with a Mil-dot that I also like. I am getting ready to mount one on a shortened 22-250 for my Encore. This is going to be my sons varmint rifle. David
