I built a .260 several years ago and decided to go with the Berger 130 otm on my first hand load. I was amazed at the accuracy right away. I am shooting 2800 fps with this load. I used it on a bear hunt last year and shot a bear at 200 yards. The bear dropped right where it was standing. I found the mushroom bullet under the skin on the opposite side. My son shot a deer last year at 450 yards and it also dropped in its tracks. Both shots were right through the heart on each animal. I have found that they are a little easier to load over the VLD’s if you have OAL restrictions. David

Over the last couple years, I have had trouble with blisters on the back of my right heal and sides of my toes. This has happened even while using boots that already had at least 50 miles on them. I have tried different types of socks, but I would like to hear from other members about what hey use, as well as feedback on them. I am tired of covering my feet with Mole skin before each hike. David

Any place i can shoot out to 300 yards along the 87 around Mt Ord or lower?

I called Randalls a couple weeks ago looking for some and they had Hornady. That’s what I use for mine and it shoots very well in my rifle.
