    Sendero 7mag options

Ok. I will definitely go with the new trigger. Love my old 700 also. I will eventually try and breath new life back into that gun also. You guys have any thoughts on the carbon wrapped barrels and Is that an option with the fluted sendero barrel?

    Sendero 7mag options

Yes I do. I have another rem700 in 7mag and love the gun but she has a lot of miles on her....so two guns is better than one. Right? Just wondering if I can make it an even better rifle.

How do you spend your Saturdays?

Great topic Houston! Some of my best memories as a kid/ teenager was being "encouraged" to go cut wood with my dad to keep the fire burning all winter. He loved to cut the biggest oak he could find,, then when we got home he would hand me and my brothers the maul and let us split and stack multiple cords of wood. Heck ya it teaches great work ethic and quality family time. Keep up the good work!

Wild wooly. You working on posting some pics of those bucks. Seems like the Kaibab has been a little slow so far for some decent bucks
  5. I know this has probably been a fairly often asked question on this site but I was wanting to get a few opinions on some good gunsmiths in the Phoenix/east valley area. If it matters I am looking at having a deer caliber sized rifle made. I have shot the 7mag for many years also looking at the .280 Ackley improved if anyone has any thoughts on that caliber. Tagged out in Sept on a beautiful 350 archery bull; my thoughts turn now to rifle deer...although no tag in hand this year. never too late to get ready for 2014.

    Looking for Gunsmith

Thanks gents for all the info. Anyone have any opinion on Kimbers 280AI in their mt ascent rifle. Looks like a nice lightweight gun. I ask about custom loads because I just seem to be so short on time anymore. I have enjoyed reloading for many years but the more I learn about precision shooting the more inadequate I feel with my subpar equipment and lack of time to really do what it takes to create a tack driver.

    Looking for Gunsmith

Thanks. I will look into Phoenix custom rifles. What about the brass for the ackley improved? Do you recommend the fire forming route or buying ai brass. Does Phoenix custom help with the work-up for loads?

Timber! Russ shoots a 7x7 with his bow!

Nice video! WHat kind of broadhead was he shooting? It obviously really did some damage! That bull went down quick!

    trophy taker shuttle t broadheads

Just curious why you are making the switch from the G5 strikers? I am going to use them this year on my archery bull hunt. I haven't shot any game with them yet but they seem to be flying well for me.
